So why do TVR make a 4.0 400hp engine and a 3.6 400hp engine?
Any true variations here?
They dont, they make a 400 and 440 4 litre and a 390 and 350 3.6

Come on Tivster spill the beans then.............
All I can say is that it has 380bhp... but there's a lot more to it than that and it would be wrong for me to put it in the public domain as TVR have not done so yet.
Suffice to say I was lost for words, gobsmacked, overwhelmed, reassured, satisfied, gratified and other semi-superlatives, but most importantly pleased that I spent the extra cash.
I think the test for the package as a whole will be very apparent after the first service when I can supply the throttle pedal and associated circuitry with the appropriate metatarsal pressure to accelerate interfrastically toward the distant horizon... be able to arrest the forward velocity so generated with the extremely effective velocity retardation apparatus and at the same moment taking in the auditory concerto that the mechanical engine emission system creates, seemingly even at the low revolutions of the engine that the running in process necessitates. Both from the interior and from the exterior the reflex charcooal, curvaceous form exclaims performance enlightenment......

Eh ? My Dealer told me about the upgrade over two months ago when I got my Tamora back from its 6k service. They had one on order.
As far as I was aware upgrade is :-
Engine to 380/390 bhp - can't remember off top of my head which it was.
Sports Exhaust
Brake Upgrade
and I also seem to recall a change to the rear valance or some sort of body work change.

It's not a sports exhaust, it's a totally reworked larger bore system from front to rear. As regards the 'other' you are getting warm.....

Well I guess if anyone wants to know 100% what the package consists of the easiest way is to talk to your dealer.

I don't even think they'll have the full details unless a customer has one on order and they're asking on their behalf. I spoke direct..

They got a bulletin notice about it over two months ago. How do you think Nubbin, myself plus others on here know most of the details I haven't spoken to the factory for over 6 months now.
