Flickering dash lights!

Chaps, I've recently had a problem of when driving with headlights on some of the dash lights start to flicker or go off completely! There's also a kind of fizzing noise!
The lights affeted are to 4 circles around the window buttons plus the 2 pairs of LEDs to signify that the headlights are on or that the side lights are on.
No problem with any other lights, ie. the 2 circles around the door openning buttons or the actual LED pair for the headlight knob!
I've checked all the fuses which are OK and seated firmly in place.
Had anyone alse had this? Was it something you could fix yourself?
