Agree with you there Flasher - terrible without the air-con on.

Even with the air-con switched on it can get very uncomfortable if you get stuck in a traffic jam (and lets face it they're pretty frequent in the UK - even in Wales!) in hot weather - on a number of occassions this summer I was p1ss-wet-through with sweat after sitting in a jam - the heat-soak from the engine and gearbox is terrific. Owning a 'c' and not a 't' I couldn't really comment but I can't image sitting in the sun with the roof panels off under those circumstances would be very comfortable.

The cost of the air-con when new is easily offset by the resale price you will get, plus it makes keeping the windows demisted a lot easier.

I take it you've taken delivery, but cannot spend any time to get out from behind the wheel !

I've checked with my dealer, and my car is due next week.......great !! Hope its as good as i'm 'imagining' at the moment.
