Picked up my car today and have been blazing around ever since, grinning like a Chesire cat! Just put it to bed for the night - more fun tomorrow!

All's well apart from a couple of niggles - wind noise from the driver door and the passenger seat belt is a bit difficult to eject.

The dealer also did a cracking job of fitting my Origin B2 all nice and neat - I even thought they'd forgot to fit the laser detector until I spotted it hiding behind the mirror. Top job!

The NOISE! Sooooo addictive. And the colour gets better every time I look at it.

Will take some pictures tomorrow and let you all have a peek!

After all the waiting and the hassles its been more than worth it.

Running in is gonna be real tough - as is avoiding other drivers who are not paying attention to their driving, staring at my car all goggle eyed instead!

Sorry for the lack of photos, waiting for a bit of sunshine!

Having a blast in the car, it really is such a thrill to drive. Had some fun on Saturday night, winding around a big set of roundabouts on a big industrial/commercial park around here. My GOD the steering is so direct its unbelievable.

Was really wierd on Sunday as I had to go out in the M3. I couldn't believe how utterly unconnected you feel - steering and suspension feel so wishy washy it felt like jelly in comparisson to the TVR.

Ringing the dealer today to see if they can do something about the wind noise on the driver door as it is very obtrusive. Its coming from the bottom left-hand corner of the window (as you look at it while sat in the car) and not from the rubber seal around the door frame but from the big bit of hard rubber in the corner of the door itselft (I'm sure there's a technical term for it but I don't know it). Also, as reported on here by others, the drivers door window is a bad fit compared to the passenger - anyone know why that is? Seems to be a common fault.

And the passenger door window has developed a rattle. This is the outer edge of the glass tapping against the inside of the lip on the roof where the window locates when in the up position.

Seems water tight at least, after the heavy downpour yesterday. :fingerscrossed:

Common problem with TVR doors. My Tuscan was the same. If they adjust it then wind comes in from somewhere else like the bottom of the door in my case.

Still, well done on your purchase.

Don't worry, once its run in and you can rev the engine a bit harder, the wonderful scream of the S6 will drown out all those other nasty noises!
