Fish took the bait!

This point gets put across at every new TVR launch. As well as why no V8s anymore, is TVR going bust and what TVR should really do is make a really cheap car with a ford V6 in it.

Any more just so we can get them out the way now before we get back on the topic of this very tasty looking car ?

btw I think you will want road going versions for race homogithingy purposes. And they'll sell!

Lock anything in a shed for a few weeks then rag it for a day then lock back up and you will get problems.

Aye, the missus didn't talk to me for a week.

TWO good reasons to lock her in the shed then!

Having decided I want a Sagaris desktop, I've modified the image a bit to smooth the colours out, etc... If anyone wants it mailing/has somewhere to host it that doesn't shrink it like Fotango has, let me know:

"The car, a development of the T350 coupe has been designed with endurance motorsport in mind...."

Then surely an AJP8 with a more flexible engine management system, 4 valve heads and side pipes with which to set fire to pedestrians trousers (for the roadgoing version) would be nice.

I know the "why can't we have a new Tiv with a V8" things has been done to death but.... Think endurance motorsport - think Lister, Ferrari, Saleen... Think lovely Big V! They're just what nature intended. There's a pleasing symmetry to them. Like Kylie. Some bits in the centre, some bits the same on both sides. It's how things are supposed to be!

How about.

T350T = Toaster?

It has two large slots in the roof, that look like you could stick a couple of large slices of Bread in.

That is probably what the "T" stands for

Hi Alan, just been to castle (new rad),guess what has just been delivered ? I think that you might be changing your car soon, as there are now two of you!!
Though you better be quick, cos when Big T see's the "sagaris" at the MPH 03 Show he will definately be sighning on the dottet line.
I have now heard the correct way of saying the new cars name from Ian...It goes like this 'Sir'garis.

Too right Dave. Spoke to Michael today bout details of the car and MPH03 etc etc.. I just know I'm having one, just formalities now My mouth is watering.....wonder if they'll be a red rose option also

Only concern at the mo is, will it ever be able to sound like my V8 Cerb??? I suppose that's not everything though, but I do love the sound of her.

Not sure yet Alan. I think they're trying to get tickets for all the days. I'd prefer to go as early as possible, maybe the Friday as I have that day off.

Mmmmhhhhhhhh..... Side pipes.... Seriously, though, it's also a far more expensive engine to produce (as far as I know).

I think it depends on the car. Personally, I love the Cerb... It's big. It's a brute. It deserves a V8. But in a 2 seater, I'd rather have a tuned 6 cylinder engine (rather have a V than a straight, tho). Plus, it really depends on the character of the car; it looks like TVR are going for "smaller" cars at the moment, which the AJP just wouldn't suit (in my opinion).
