Out of interest, has anyone converted their 'T'/sag car to a push button start?

Was it difficult, how does it look? where did you site it?

thanks,

J.

All that would do is add weight and hassle, plus it is something else to go wrong.

You're in the wrong forum. You need Barryboys.co.uk

... not exactly a T-car but still interesting (in German - you might want to contact Eckhard in English): German Solution

This was done by the factory on the Tuscan II

I have also done it to my Sagaris using the Tuscan stop start button, Was it difficult? Yes very.

However it does look great, is reliable and is fitted above the drivers side air vent.

So it can be done.

Wow, this is an old thread. It is easy to do. Just get a button off Demon Tweaks or CBS or similar site, install it onto the dash (or other place as desired) and re-route the appropriate starter cables. It gets more interesting when you do start/stop functionality, but the basics are simple.

There are other threads on here showing how people including myself have done it in the past with pics.

I fitted a Honda S2000 start button ....cost then £50 on eBay 3yrs ago but generally any start button should fit....it's just getting the correct thickness of cable and location right

I bought the Tuscan one from Dom (Power), but not sure they have any left now. They are as rare as hens teeth (or were).
