seems to be lots of talk about big BHP from LS engines, this is only achivable with good headers and exhaust system most TVR,s need major knife work to get there
Fitting an LS engine is easy, with headers a ex pipe capable of big horses is major

The TVR conversions have achieved big bhp without getting the knife out.
I can only think of one TVR that cut the chassis up,my car is prove that it was unnecessary.

Headers look very impressive would like to see pic from front of car looking on front pulley/damper
Has the engine been mounted high in the chassis ?
or with the crank in its normal plane

Any Idea who this guy is

Rumour is, he is in Germany

You can see he has widened the chassis to take the supercharched Audi V8 and also look at the size of the brakes

Not with these manifolds... Dave and I developed these specifically for TVR conversions and these are fitted to the T350. Better than the standard headers but not cheap.

a work of art.
very nice.

That doesn't make sense - the lump on the trolley looks something like an complete front Audi subframe assembly complete with all the engine/gearbox/suspension/chassis bits, it simply does not just drop into the chassis behind it.

Will they fit a 2001 Tuscan speed 6

Wouldn't have thought so, they are designed to fit with the LS v8 conversion that Shpub has just about finished.

Honestly you meant the question as a joke. Didn't you?

I suspect he was asking whether they would allow the V8 to fit into a Tuscan chassis, mentioning the Speed Six title so as not to confuse with the other two types of Tuscan smile

I am aware that these headers are for an Chevy LSx lump (4 ports per side of a V8 engine)

What i was asking is would these headers, or do you make headers that would fit onto an LSx engine into a 2001 Tuscan speed six chassis/body ?

Would both exhausts run down the same side of the transmission tunnel ?

Would the Headers go down the block or up and foward ?

I have had several LS tuners look at my car with the LS bolted in and no pipes, and all have said the state off tune of an LS engine would be limited by the pipes and that the LS engine i own should be de tuned from its present 562 crankshaft HP in its last home it ran 2 1/4 primaries and 3 1/2 pipes all with swept bends

When asked about the full race cam i have, one tuner said "you can have the Exhaust valve open all day but if the gases are not scavenging you not going to gain anything only more valve train wear, drop the cam lift/timing to what the pipes can clear

Thanks to all who have commented

The post was asking if anybody know,s of an exhaust system for a tuned LSx engine in a Tuscan speed six (2001)
not if this would be a good car for going to Tesco,s in
the use of the car was never mentioned

The post was never designed to suggest transport to a supermarket, certainly not Tesco. My car goes to Waitrose and seems quite content with that. I did drive past a Tesco's once - both myself and the car werent well briefly.

hippyFFS

I have fitted an LS in my TVR M,i'm using 1 7/8 for my manifolds, also making them myself, the engine is fitted low and as far back as poss. This leaves me no room to go straight down but plenty to go forward and down.
How is your engine fitted?
JP exhaust will sort you out for a price

Yes the manifolds will fit a Tuscan Speed 6. Or at least they do when I do the conversion. Or put another way... it all depends on the exact installation. They certainly clear the main chassis rails with no problems but as they go down the sides of the gearbox, it then depends on what clutch/bellhousing/gearbox you have. Bear in mind that the Tuscan transmission tunnel is narrow and there is not much space.
