Hi all,

Can anybody who has Nitrons fitted to their Tamora tell me what settings they have the adjusters set to please?
Also what ride height is 'normal'?

I only use the car for road use, fairly spirited but want to keep it comfortable. Seems a little soft at the front, especially hard on the brakes and through dips etc.

Thanks,

Mick

i put nitrons on my tamora a few years ago, found them a bit firm , so had different springs fitted ( still have springs ) which made it much better on the road and still excellent on track. as for settings really cannot help , but what i had seemed to work good.

12 clicks for track
8 to 10 clicks for road
getting the car corner weighted would be a good starting point though

for adjusting the nitrons: please is it possible to do this with fitted (adjuster on top) shocks and the tam will be only lifted a bit with bolted wheels ?

and how does the adjuster "work", should i press and click ?

sorry for this silly question ..

thanx.

It is possible on the T350, but it is a tight squeeze to reach the fronts.

as it seems you never did any adjustments to them turn every damper fully soft or fully hard and count the clicks that there is no difference in right/left. you can go on from there wink

Out of interest, is it any easier when they are mounted adjuster at the bottom? Ive got a set to go on once I've finished powerder coating and would like to do it right 1st time!

I think the reason for mounting with adjuster on top is because its less exposed to the elements up there.
