Hi all

Has anyone had any experiences with installing the above traction control system on a Sag?

I was just wondering if anyone had any feedback positive or negative on using such a system.

Thanks, Alex

Hi Alex wavey
It may be worth cross posting this into the Tuscan forum as I know there are a couple of them with RL traction control fitted.

I've fitted several of these to Tuscans. It is an excellent system. Been running one myself since 1999...

Yep I have, i had one fitted on the chimaera, the racelogic is up for sale as I have moved over from an Emerald ECU to Motec with the built in traction control, the racelogic is better in as much as its a neater soloution with the digital adjuster, just dial in how much slip you want

That is very different to my experience as the difference is between chalk and cheese when ever I have fitted this kit.

What did the original fitters say?

I've had one on a cobra replica circa 550 bhp

full throttle shifting
launch control etc

was fantastic fun

took some setting up to get it right, but worth it.

the slip rate was good to get wet and dry performance correct.

i did find that the belief that you cold nail it anywhere and let traction control deal with it was flawed however after i lost it on a motorway slip road under relatively gentle throttle......no damage but entering a motorway backwards, whilst somewhat exciting, ... is not to be recommended
