If only it was a volante then that would be perfect cloud9

That white V8VS looks incredibly chavvy too imo.

Why does the Cygnet have a different style of badge on? It seems to be about twice as big as a normal one too.

The thing that made me smile was that the Astons are clean as a whistle, but the Cygnet is the only car looking as if it has been going fast enough to catch insects on the front. Has it been left like that to prove Cygnets are fast enough to catch them, or that even AM won't be washing the Cygnet with pride?. Maybe the Cygnet drives along in front to keep insects out of the way...........

I heard someone say "I like my cars the same way I like my women. Fast and dirty"

You will note on the One-77, the key fob between the 2 seats.

It's plastic.

Ok, I know its for internal manoeuvering.

But I'm sure Sheikh Mahandi would have a seizure if he saw it.

Furthermore, do you reckon that is the Burnt Orange Virage that was used for the photo shots in Northern Spain?

By the way George, I've no idea why the Cygnet badge is so big smile

I've got one plastic nasty fob and one funky glass fob. Although if I bought a 1-77 (tragically unlikely) I'd want my glass fob replaced by one of purest unicorn horn...

Hmm scratchchin, meal with the bank manager last night, a trip to Gaydon... Could we be expecting a new V12V or Virage owner shortly?

Also isn't there an option to specify a second crystal key? Or there is on the Virage anyway as I saw it in the AM magazine.

George I'm defo a used car man - I can afford the depreciation hit on a 1 year old but not on a new one. Good luck to those who can.

The Bank Manager is for my Charitable Organisation, and I derive no income from it.

Interesting about the Virage keys - didn't know that. In the foyer at Gaydon on Monday I dropped my glass key onto the marble floor by accident. Luckily it was ok and I mumbled something about the £700 bill if I broke it, only to be corrected simultaneously by the guide (fantastic Ashley) and Kat from Stratstone - they are now apparently £1,200 each.

Gulp smile

Should have bought more keys rather than the car as they seem to appreciate.

Agree with the used car thing, mine was 5 or 6 months old, but was only owned by AML themselves before that and used as the display car at the MPH show.

I was looking for one a bit older, one of the early 470 bhp ones, until it popped up.

I'm sure being a tight Scotsman you could have glued the key back together smile But £1200 yikes I might start using the plastic one and leave the other in the safe!

It even has flies all over it laugh (which probably answers the later question).

It's either

(1) The badge is the same size as normal, but the car's half the size (images of Phoenix Nights and the dwarf football team spring to mind. Or Father Ted and the cows).

or

(2) They're of the opinion that if you write "Aston Martin" big enough, it will fool someone.

....

It should be illegal to show black cars in a showroom environment. They really do look amazing when clean and highly polished. And last that way for about 5mins on the public road. The black Virage looks lovely (still not keen on the name).

I even like the white V8VS.

Chav! It would look amazing outside an Essex nightclub! smile

laugh I love that bit from Phoenix Nights - 'How far away are those lot' biggrin

I also thought of:
(3) Put a badge big enough so that it covers the Toyota one underneath.

Please keep on picking on the Cygnet. If everyone hates them so much I am hoping that they are dirt cheap second hand. Then I'll p/x my Aygo for one...
