Hi Chris, welcome to the wonderful world of Aston Martin, and thanks for ordering the guide. The Vantage offers a fabulous mix of style, class, status, noise, driving fun/flow & feel-good factor which all adds up to a special ownership experience and looking for the right car is half the fun... best of luck with the search smile

Good man thumbup thanks Paul, although looking at your profile you already have "the drivers pick" sitting on your drive, very nice... that's a lot of filled teeth biggrin

Grant book came today! Superb, very well done and high quality. I'll work on memorizing everything for the vantage (getting closer to getting one now!)

My copy is getting a little tattered. Any chance you're going to include information about the new GT and N430 in the next edition? I'm thinking it's time to buy a new copy soon.

Howdy Karl, it's just a matter of time before you write your own book.... 101 diy modifications for your Vantage smile Congratulations on ordering your new GT, it really does offer great value in the US, shame Aston didn't price the N430 at the same level!

Funny you should ask as the 8th edition comes into stock tomorrow, this includes two pages covering the V8S based special editions - SP10/N430/GT with 280 pages in total and model year changes up to the 2014MY (fully up to date as of last month!).

Thanks Foxy, hope you enjoy it. I notice your profile shot shows your AMV8 out the front of Cambridge A.M. is it Tungsten (or maybe Grigio, you can never tell in images) she looks fab either way smile

Hi Grant,
Yeah, my V8V is a tungsten 07 and it was from A.M. Harston, you obviously know your dealers (are you from Cambridgeshire?) Decided to send it to The Works at Newport Pagnell for a real good "birthday" service, just waiting for it to be returned later this afternoon, can't wait, the truck they collected with was amazing too, quite an experience all round! Guess you will be at Burghley in July? Looking forward to reading your book.
Cheers.

Hi Grant,
Just a quick note to say thanks for writing a great guide to propective ownership. I purchased your guide after recommendation some 3-4 months ago, determined to learn everything I could before plunging into AM ownership for the first time. I have to say that I found your guide absolutely invaluable and also spot-on in terms of picking up some of the weak spots and faults in cars I looked at before finally buying. If anyone is looking to buy a modern era Aston, then your guide is simply a must-have. Thanks again.
