My copy turned up from Amazon just before I went on holiday on Saturday and i've been regaling my long suffering girlfriend with details on this options or that colour while we sit by the pool.
Great to hear that the book has earned its keep and thanks very much for the feedback - love the bit about the long suffering GF... I have one of those.. they need to share in our passion for cars! wink

Grant,I received a copy of your book this week and love it. Great job! I'm so glad that someone stepped up and wrote about the modern-era cars (I'm also a fan of the older ones). I look forward to completing the book over the (U.S.) holiday weekend. Cheers, Dave
Thanks Dave, hope you get a few beers over the US holiday weekend beer

Looking forward to getting a copy.
All the way from Canada that car of yours looks very sultry on page 238 - in fact sex on wheels - try not run over any Royals while you are hooning around this weekend biggrin

Just a quick post to say that the Definitive guide to Aston Martin is now back in stock
( www.astonmartinreview.co.uk )and I believe all back orders went out yesterday.

Apologies for the delay, we were waiting for the 2012 model year data, which was very late out this year, to ensure the guide is fully up to date.

Thanks also to Mikey K for adding to the owners section cool

We have also sent out a free 2012MY PDF update to all those that already have the book, I hope you all got these ok and thanks again for your support. thumbup

I bet you are banghead Grant, just when you thought you could put your feet up, a road legal Zagato turns up and a new DBS (possibly) lurking in the not too distant future.

A never ending labour of love, but there are quite a few of us who are grateful you took it on.

Better let you get on and sharpen your pencil.

Your are right Di this year has been busy with a whole raft of new models and updates, so every time you go to press print something else pops up headache, but as the Zagato is in the reprint (& update) & the "new" model will likely be Geneva or later I think we are bang up to date read .... but A.M. certainly hold their cards close to the chest so you never know what is around the corner rotate!

Hi Scott, check your Amazon account messages - there should be an email offering the update.

Thanks Jockman, glad you like it...... the only trouble is every time I look at the Cobalt Blue V8S and the Madagascar Orange Virage they do cause that rather worrying and familiar "new Aston" itch -

I read my copy the other weekend.

There's a substantial amount of information in there, I would guess it's most use if you're in the market for a used Aston, but there's some useful information which I would imagine isn't covered in the owners manual.

Overall I found it to be well worth the money. There's a copule of typographic errors, but overall it's well produced, and informative. I suspect that there wouldn't be much new to anyone who'd owned one of these cars for a while, but makes a great introduction.

Great book and offers good value for money - the only problem is I keep mentally stretching my budget. So overall it could be the most expensive book I've ever purchased wink

But the pictures and info are nicely detailed and it's helping me sort out exactly what I want to buy. A nice balance of technical, specs, pics and owners / specialist info. A sound investment for me.

Cheers

heheit's even worse once you actually have the car and it gets under your skin, you start off with an early V8 and end up looking at colour options on a DBS biggrin

Looking forward to the photos once you get your new toy.

I've just bought my book direct from your website. I'm really looking forward to reading it. I'm just finding it hard to resist buying V8V before reading it! lick
