Dare I ask what happened, I hope you haven't got an anti-Aston campaigner in the camp biggrin

Apologies, I missed this, the next shipment goes tommorow, but I'll ask for yours to go 1st class. Just to let you know we have found some slight seconds ( the name on the spine isn't lined up, otherwise they are fine) these are available for £3 less, just use the email address on the website and request a "slight-seconds-copy" with your order date and they will refund £3 via Paypal....... I only mention this as it may save a few sheckled 2nd time around wink

Ah I see, good to hear that you have been called back to the fold, I believe your guide went out yesterday, best of luck with the search and the latest book covers up to the 14MY, so you should have plenty of information to cover a beautiful "newer" DB9. smile

Just a quick one to say the 9th edition will be out next week smileA HUGE THANKYOU for your continued support thumbup

Updated to include 2015MY information with a focus on the new Touchtronic III transmission.
Details on the 2015MY Vanquish - Rapide S and V12 Vantage S Roadster + a new owners piece on Vanquish.
New Vantage specification summary comparison tables by model/year (as previously requested).
Additions and tweaks to all sections to include any model changes, the latest known problems and issues, updated options, a good number of VIN decoder updates, data table additions, new Aston colours (inside and out), new images, etc, etc.
Now (since the 7th edition)with a cleaner layout (no header/footer lines etc)the 9th edition will also have a stitched cover for improved readability. The guide continues to evolve in line with Aston's model range and reader feedback smile

Hey Grant,

Just received your book and to my delight I'm really enjoying it. As the previous owner of a 2003 Vanquish and current owner of a V8VR there's a lot of stuff in there that is very useful. I particularly like your take on various parts of the marque, and I like having all the models in one book. This makes your book far more valuable than the net in a lot of ways.

I never thought I'd buy a physical book again after going completely paperless 5 years ago, but yours has broken the drought! And it's a stylish look too, congrats to the designer.

I'll buy your new update sometime next year and pass mine on to an enthusiast.

Thanks again!

As a totally useless aside, I just noticed if you swap the C and P in your 'Sceptre Publishing' name, you have the name of the new James Bond movie!

And last week I was contacted by my shop for a service reminder on my Aston Martin by a certain Daniel Craig. He must get a lot of good humoured flak for that connection!

I am brand new to Piston Heads although I have been reading a number of the forums as a guest these past few weeks since I decided I am going to fulfill my dream and purchase a V8 Vantage. I'm hoping to find a 2007 in the next few months.

I ordered the 9th edition f the guide through Amazon on Jan 18 and it arrived today. What quick service! I am already devouring the information and it is indeed comprehensive. Thank you Grant Neal for writing it and thank you members of this forum for so highly recommending it. For a newbie like me, the advice is invaluable and will greatly assist me as I commence my journey on the way to ownership.

Good man, welcome to the wonderful world of Aston Martin. I'm pleased you are finding the guide useful. The V8 Vantage is a special car and somehow feels even more "exotic" Stateside where it is far less common than the equivalent Porsche (etc).
Make sure you take your time and make condition/service history your priority and enjoy the search it's part of the pleasure... ......do let us know when you find your ideal Aston smile

Hi guys, I've just ordered a copy of this book from Sceptre publishers but am hoping to see a car on the weekend.

Is there any way of getting online access to the book? I know some publishers allow online access if you purchase the book and was hoping to have a read before the weekend.

Thanks

Hi Vinnie, Thanks for ordering the guide, I'm afraid there isn't an online version, if you need it urgently email Sceptre and ask to be upgraded to 1st class post, then (fingers crossed) you should get your copy before the weekend. I hope you enjoy the book smile

Hi Grant,
I bought the 4th edition in 2012 which was an excellent investment prior to buying my V8V, I kept up to date and have the 7th edition from the following year but I have just bought a N430 in stealth and wonder if this is in the latest edition? I expect to collect the new car next month as I am getting a few up-grades carried out by the supplying dealer and am on holiday. Keep up the great work.
Best wishes,
Malcolm
All in the latest edition, I should have checked first.
