Shmee said: For what it's worth, people may be interested to know that these two, car numbers #01 and #07 respectively are owned by Sheik Nasser, effectively AM's owner: Is that a Cygnet I spy in the background of the second image? Surely a rarer beast than the One-77?

Amusingly after we kicked this thread back into action yesterday, at 7pm last night I saw my 10th One-77!
I believe it was in Quantum Silver, had an astonishing outline in a dimly lit street and I'll try to get some pics up later; car number 63.

Heads up: Steve Cropley drives the One-77 in this week's Autocar. Proper 6-page article, too. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it's very very good....

Had a little jolly up to AMWS yesterday to let V12V go on its annual service pilgrimage.
The new facilities are almost complete and I was told I was one of the first Costomers to see the inside. They have imho taken away a little of the grimey old works service (perhaps the first lick of paint in 50 years) patina, however, it is now a big clinical service bay which is miraculously almost twice as wide as it used to be. The Heritage/bodyshop sections remain unchanged and the men in brown coats remain. Not sure about the ultra-contemporary showroom which will sell both new and Heritage models which was unfinished. David Webb et al showed their superb levels of service and knowledge etc..during the day.
Saw and heard 2off 1-77s fire-up yesterday (sound was not what I would have expected); a silver RHD (not lightning, but a fine-grained silver with an ultra-fine grey metallic fleck) and the second (mainly under a cover - a "lime/jade" green (not California sage, more like a Ferrari 250GTO racing green) LHD with matching lime green centre console. Could not take photos (obviously) and didnt thing to get the VIN numbers before it was too late/too uncool.

Rgds The first sounds like this possibly? Or was it darker? Secondly, a lime green One-77!? Seriously!? Wow I need to see that, like now! What excuse can I come up with for a trip to WS?

Shmee, I spent a while reading Autocar or similar - about a $20M 250GTO. The colour was very similar to this (with matching black/green trim):- Hard to say on the silver One-77. May have been the light of the workshop or the photo but was not Lighning silver (no blue). To me it was more of a light silver base with tine grey flecks. More "quicksilver/Mercury" (but not the typical grey/bronze of Gaydon models). rgds

There is a black one in Hong Kong. Wasn't able to snap a picture of it, but it is on "Test" (dealership) plates, so not fully registered (115% tax) yet. The sound of it was truly amazing.

On the island. Drove past the strip with the bars in Central (Rayne, Solas etc.) - I was parked up with my AMV8 having lunch and my jaw dropped when it came by. Such a stunning machinery!!
