Valance Bump?

Washing my car today after it's trip out through the Derbyshire fog i noticed this bump on the valance i would of noticed this before so must be recent.

I assume i must of hit something reversing but if i did the PDC was'nt going barmy and i haven't felt it either.

You can feel somthing behind it but no idea what it is pressing it out.

Any clues?

From where I am standing it sort of looks pulled out, not in. Suggest you try a body shop who may be able to dress it back in.

Is it possible something got stuck back in there? Take a little mirror and try to see what's pushing it out.

Quite often plastics will "remember" their original shape when heat is applied.

Take it to a bodyshop and they should be able to put a heatgun on the area and with a bit of luck it will pop back into shape.

This could have been where someone else has reversed into you and the plastic has twisted and then popped out?

Some one nudged the back on my last one at low speed and it did exactly the same.
Your close to Rick - ask him to have a look for you he may be able to heat it up enough to massage it out.

Took a look tonight and theres a clip right behind it but it seems to be doing its job.

So i will ring Rick and see what he has to say i don't think it's been hit.
