Gaydon - factory tour?
Discussion
All factory tourers...
Just had a phone call from AML about the visit on Friday... There has been a production changeover at the factory and consequently it is going to be very quiet there! There will be a few bits a d bobs going on which you'll be taken around but it won't sadly be the full-blown experience of a couple of weeks ago seeing everything on the production lines in progress.
Just wanted to let people know it'll be quieter than normal but still plenty to see and get your teeth into
If we rescheduled... it'd be some time in September so get in there while you can, it's just a great place to be

Forgot you have a VR6
Corrado or Golf?
MkIII Golf auto! Probably the least loved of all VR6s although it's actually a very decent car with a bit of poke and lovely heated leather seats. Been a great town/motorway car.Corrado or Golf?
I'll sell it for buttons, need the parking space for the Guigiaro Turbo Esprit which is being MOTd next week and then returned to me after an 8year restoration! Living in London and having a lot of cars is not a good mix

Mine was a 3dr mk3 manual in purple, my lasting memory will be driving from the Cotswolds to Copenhagen on a snowy February morning

And Mikey, I agree, rural types are far superior

Us rural types have a lot more room

We had some Corrado VR6s. Magic little cars with a decent turn of speed too.Mine was a 3dr mk3 manual in purple, my lasting memory will be driving from the Cotswolds to Copenhagen on a snowy February morning
Favourite memory. Running in convoy with the misses from Ledbury back to Kent with suprisingly little traffic about.
Me in Corrado VR6 Storm, she in Corrado VR6.
I can imagine Wales was even better though with a clutch of Astons.
Yes us Rural types are better!
