The list as it stands today 4 May evening, copied from a few pages back. As ever, the same plea - please don't bring bored partners/+1s unless they want to actually see the factory. It's pretty dry stuff, it's a car factory wink Every bored partner is another Aston owner that can't go. However, if your +1 is as car mad as you, then fantastic!

Ok, lets not mess about, if you need a serious piece of kit then this is the only one to have.

And absolutely NO chance of ever owning one if you live in the UK.

Guys, I wouldn't normally do this as a chief off-topiccer, but could you move the gun talk to Mikey's thread instead biggrin

Trying to get 26 people and reserves to pay attention for their tour on Friday and so far no-one has responded to the fact that Aston have changed the format and people are pulling out and being moved up. The relentless pictures of pop guns might have something to do with it!

After next Wednesday... Go for it, I'll even join in with my Walthers. All Londoners have a pistol according to George... wink

Yeti/Lewis,

Great day out, thanks for all the effort in arranging. Good to meet so many friendly faces and to drown in the enthusiasm of the AM team who made the day worthwhile. Apologies for delay but my wife's mother passed away and life has been hectic over the past couple of weeks. Had hoped to attend Bamford but she was in hospital at the time.

Not sure about comments re other halves - My wife found the tour really exciting and just loved the attention to detail, the variety of bespoke work that makes most of our cars unique, and the owners cars on display in the "museum". Sadly I didnt get to see a Zagato in the flesh - maybe another tour in future!

Lazerbrain standby

Mr 'The Pits', please keep trying to mail me, or send a text to 07590 457776. You've removed your plus one as has Wobbly and V8woolie wants to wait until everything is up and running at the factory so he's gone from the reserve list.

So CraigBurgess, I need your real name and that of your plus 1 urgently.

Lazerbrain is now the only reserve. On the one hand it's a nice Star Wars reference, but LASER is spelt with an S wink

Seems the Pistonheads 'email me' system is down, I can't contact Craig Burgess.

Bamford Rose will also have their doors open afterwards for anyone who wants to go up there, it's a 20min drive. My car is having the trial fit of the V12 manifolds today so there will probably be something to see for V12 and V8 owners. Ben and his GT4 engined monster (Jessica) will also be there, last thing I heard.

If possible, everyone should aim to arrive at the factory for about 9.45am, this will allow time for signing in and coffee before our hosts commence the tours. All attendees will need to give their names at the security gatehouse on arrival at the Aston Martin entrance. They will then be directed to VIP parking and VIP Reception where everyone will sign in. The tours should be finished by 12.00pm.

Directions:

When on the M40 Motorway (south/north)
Leave at junction 12.
Turn left at the T junction
Right at first roundabout
Drive past the Heritage Centre (on your left)
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit. (signposted Aston Martin)
At the security gate, please give your name and ask to be directed to VIP Customer
Reception. (Take the first right through the stone gate posts - keep left and follow the signs
to VIP parking. Once parked please walk across the moat and enter VIP Customer Reception.)
Central London to Gaydon, by road, takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

Have fun guys!!

Sorry Yeti - my plus 1 and I are going to have to drop out. Work issues mean I have to bring a work trip to India forward so can't make it. Looking at earlier post, this would free up 2 spots for anybody on standby. Have fun.
