Ok, this is where I'm currently up to after around 3 years doing this!

I have 405 cars from the first 1000 listed on the Register, at varying degrees of completeness for the info I maintain.

I have a further 89 cars listed from 1001-1376.

The countries of allocation I have so far are:-

Australia 35
Austria 4
Belgium 47
Brazil 5
Canada 26
Chile 14
China 2
Czech Republic 2
Denmark 1
Dubai 1
France 69
Germany 178
Greece 1
Hong Kong 4
Italy 19
Japan 33
Kuwait 5
Lebanon 2
Luxembourg 1
Malaysia 1
Netherlands 13
Norway 2
NZ 11
Poland 3
Portugal 2
Quatar 2
S Africa 5
Saudi Arabia 3
Singapore 5
Spain 2
Sweden 2
Switzerland 88
Taiwan 2
UK 360
Ukraine 1
USA 195
UNKNOWN 79
NON-V12V Coupe 151
TOTAL 1376

And these are made up of:-

Coupe - 1146
Roadster - 103
Unknown -79
Zagato - 43
V12VS - 4
007 - 1
TOTAL - 1376

So over on the AMOC Forum, they're saying 1200 Manual coupes, which means 54 of the unknown 79 are coupes and 25 are either Zagatos/V12VS's.

I look forward to the day when I have the definitive answer!!

Here we go again 103 Roadsters???? They only made 101 ! Think Jonby will be along soon to pass comment.

Great work though on the register - I'm surprised how many cars are in Germany.

I think there will be more than 101 V12VR's registered because there will be a couple of cars that will remain in the hands of Aston Martin and will not be sold to the public. They will however have to have been registered. My understanding is that they will be retained by AML and used for things like PDC's and when no longer required will be crushed. When I was at the Nurburgring Test Centre in May there was one sat in the corner there. Hope that makes sense and Jonby please correct me if I am wrong.

I think Germany is the EU "base" to deliver lots of unregistered (stock cars) to, which then disperse around Europe.

And yes, 103 Roadsters! Most of this info came from Alwin who has the Cobalt Blue car, via his trusted main dealer source.
Making reference to what Ian said above, one of the "extra" ones will be the initial white one of Dr Bez methinks.

I can supply the 103 V12VR vins to anyone who can officially verify them as such, if they wish to contact me. Anything to help clarify the situation smile

You can actually rent V12Vs and the rest of the Aston range with Sixt in Germany. I guess a large part of the Astons un-accounted for will probably be rental cars.

Hi Mako,

I'm the one who posed the question over on the AMOC forum about a V12V register. My car:

vin 862
Tungsten Silver
All leather is Chestnut Tan
Phantom Gray carpet
Grey headliner
B&O
Grey calipers
special bits: Silver stitching on steering wheel and center (inner) seat panels, Chromed sill plates
Delivered to me new in October 2011 in Houston, TX...supposedly one of the first 2012 models. I specified and ordered it in early June of 2011.

Fantastic looking car. I have a Tungsten Roadster with a Bitter Chocolate interior. Would be interested to see what your interior looks like. Any pictures?

Thanks Ian...I debated bitter chocolate. I like the contrast with the silver stitching. I'm tryhing to upload a few pics of the interior but having a little trouble...probably operator error but I'll give it another go

Hi Marc,
Thank you very much for posting this up as #862 was not on my Register. And what a truly stunning colour combo you specced. The V12V does look particularly good in Tungsten and the Chestnut complements it very nicely indeed.
I also love the polished alloy tread plates which are quite a rare specced item.
Cheers - Phil

Thanks both Phil and Ian. I adore the car and look forward to driving it everytime I get behind the wheel. One of the great things about being in Houston is you can enjoy the car all year. Looking forward to a road trip to Austin next month for the U.S.G.P. in the V12V!

I went and visited my dealer a couple of months ago and he mentioned that he thought about 400 V12V's made their way to the states. That's why I asked the question over on AMOC because it got me curious. So it loks like there are almost 200 verified over here. Quite a rare beast indeed. Thanks Phil for all of your hard work in gathering the details for the register!

Hi Guys,

Ian - thanks for the thumbs up on the new purchase. It is indeed spectacular (the main reason why I forgot to check back in on this thread!) :-)

I graduated from a 2010 V8 and yes, the differences are immense. My opinion only, but believe there's also noticeably better build quality in a number of areas on the 2013 cars. That plus some unexpected extras. Phil - you might want to log that mine came with rain-sensing wipers and auto headlights, which were not on the spec sheet and are not even in the owner's manual. Typical Aston I guess.

Finally Phil, yes I do have the dealer PDFs for both cars. Will find a way to reach you through these forums via e-mail.

Photos to follow when it stops peeing down.

Cheers,

Steve

Cheers Adam, so this on AM's site around noon on Sat and have already Enquired about the vin and await a reply.
There was an orange v12v attend some summer events this year with the S's so waiting to see if its the same one. If it is, it's one of the last ones.
It had me interested for a while but with virtually the same mileage as mine and over 3 years apart, it cannot be justified.

Lovely colour and I could be tempted .. But at £106k you're going lose 25% or more in depreciation by this time next year, which is a lot of money for a change of colour.... But it does look great. smile
