So you're the one who purchased it… I tried but had to settle on a BRG 2013 Vantage S as the Goodwood V12 Vantage was out of my budget. Enjoy!

Phil,

You asked me to tell you the VIN (last four), of the car sold by Maranello last November.

It is 0308.

I think this is probably the only Grigio Titanio - Ferrari (V12V) in the UK. Perhaps no surprise then, that it was sold in less than two weeks.

Jon.

Perhaps they made the price attractive, so that it moved off their forecourt quickly.

Cannot have those showy red cars upstaged by powerful understated class. laugh

Hey Jon, thanks so much for finding this out! The elusive 0308. And the next one after my Mako beast 0307!!
This means I now have my longest run of 12 vins from 299-311 which includes 0301 in NZ and 0302 in Aussie!
Cheers
Phil

Hi Guys.

I am in the process of finalising a deal to buy a v12v coupe.

The current registration is KX09 GXR but it has also been on other registrations: GT03 DAV and V12 WNR.

The car is in Titanium silver and was registered 01/04/2009.
Engine number is AM 1024818

Has anybody have any knowledge that they can share regarding that car?

Thanks

The KX suggests it is a factory car of some sort

You will find plenty of pics of a V12V with that registration number on the internet - as already implied above it was (I think) one if the press launch cars for Aston Martin?

Thrashed by every car mag, CCBs washed with high detergent and now falling apart, engine death rattle, vibrating steering wheel, front end down to primer and wrong disc pads fitted!
Oh and sat nav stuck shut and rattles all over the dash!

or, it could mean that it was an 'Aston Directors' car that has been very well looked after. Research needed to see whether it was a press car or a company car.

I should add [as someone who owns a KX plated V12V], I do believe they were meticulously maintained during their period of being 'factory' cars.

I bought mine with a full year AM warranty & am still more than happy with the car wink

Oh ok. Is it best to stay away from it then? I am also seriously considering the masagascar orange car from aston martin works. Great spec. What are your opinions on resale, will the colour harm it?
Thanks for your help.

It's been up for sale at AMW for over a year. You decide.

(Plenty on here love it though. You will break several hearts if you buy it).

And guess what, that was also a press car. As a 2013 model I imagine it got less abuse by journalists than a 2009 one though. So it has two factors which have so far prevented it from selling - press car and colour. However, as has been said, the factory cars get very well maintained, many love the colour (including me), the spec is superb and the price is now good. If my wife hadn't vetoed the colour I would have bought it 2 months ago.
