Any recent updates Mako? Any idea of total Carbon Black V12s, and in Europe versus US?

Hi there, thanks for the post. The Register now has 650 cars from 1196 built (54%) and has progressed well this year. This has been helped by the influx of one-owner cars coming up for sale - presumed in px against the new manual S and owners thinking they had a keeper, but want the latest and last manuals!

Re Carbon Black cars, I don't have the total numbers officially built but the Register has 118 confirmed examples - 35 UK, 49 US/Canada, 21 EU, 7 NZ/Australia, 2 China, 1 Malaysia, 1 Lebanon, 1 Chile, 1 Ukraine.

HTH and feel free to assist in any European ones you see - i need last 4 vin and an advert link or photos please if out and about!

I've always wondered - does AML not help when it comes to this register? Presumably there's nothing confidential about telling you the mix of colours for example?

I've been lead to believe that the data kept on the Register is not available to AML all in one place, so when complete (haha - taken me nearly 6 years to get 650!) will hopefully be a fantastic thing.
If an owner requests specific info on a colour then they may be able to help. For eg, a fellow Mako owner had it confirmed only 7 UK RHD Mako Blue V12Vs.

Hi Mako
I assume you are just collecting data for coupes, or are you looking for roadsters too?

Hi Brital, thanks for the pic of your roadster....niiiiice!

My Register just deals with coupes as there is a chap in Holland who created a roadster register as he owned one. If you google v12 vantage Register there'll be a link to his website on these. Not sure if it is still updated.

Except it was KX09 GXR that we all remember, not a couple of promo pics from the print rag.

I bet it would have been a slightly different clip with that interior.

I think JC probably drove both, for the video and the magazine.
KX09 GXP was also driven by Richard Meaden at the time:

137,500 euros at 68,500km? Prices must be on the up...

Mine is looking like a steal.

I think they probably want to cash in on the fact JC drove it and that it is one of the first cars made but honestly it is just a press car, a very nice one indeed but is it worth more than a later version? I don't think so.

It is purely down to being Mako Blue....an utterly fantastic rare colour which makes those cars worth so much more!!

Thanks Trigbush.... truly awful alloys. I'll probably need this one for my Register - any chance of getting the last 4 vin numbers for me please?

Brilliant, thank you Gavin. Spec sheet received for 896 and details now added onto Register.

1002 not on register, is this at a main dealer?
