I do wonder why some people buy convertibles, the roof is down on mine as long as it's not raining To be fair, at that particular moment in time it was lightly spitting and mine was up too; no traffic and I'd have kept it down but stop-start would mean getting wet. Both back down shortly after.

I had an intense meeting with a customer this morning and had to take him to lunch to lunch at Barbecoa, with wine. I'm not helping am I? If i look dog rough tomorrow its not my age Maybe I am working too hard - and need to start greasing the wheels - "apologies for the recent debacle - allow me to get you drunk to compensate.."

Good to meet a few of you today at Trinity. Pity the weather wasn't great but still a good turnout.
@Bob - I'll look out for you at Goodwood tomorrow, will you be in the typhon, would love to see it.
I'm in the healey because I've promised to display it in the Toyo Tyres area near the control tower.
Cheers Rich...

Great to see you again chaps; I hope the hoon through the countryside was fun. Sorry I had to bail, work commitments have to take precedence unfortunately.
Thanks for organising this, Lewis.
Thanks also to Tim and his incredibly knowledgeable and friendly lads and lasses for the bacon sarnies, coffee and assistance with my car. I really do appreciate the time you took to speak to us all and to help those of us with questions and other bits and pieces.

Credit where it's due Wish I'd got there earlier, missed a proper tour of the workshop, some real exotica in there, DB4/5/6 as far as the eye can see. Wonderful However, a very welcome sausage bap followed by a bacon butty made me feel right at home. Happy days

Burnout and Tim, thanks v much for today - really good to meet such nice people and see some wonderful cars up close... Now all I need is a scheme to get a 1970's V8 Vantage..mmmm... Might be a bit over the top, but does anyone own two Astons?

Ended up at the front of the pack going through the Hindhead tunnel, but the first 3 cars were seperated from the main group on the first run through. The N400 sounded great as they blasted past, but all I could really hear somewhere in the tunnel behind me was Yeti and Burnout! Couldn't see them they were that far back, just hear them. Astons sound great, but can't compete with those two.
Big thanks to Tim and his team at Trinity for a great morning, very knowedgleable people.
Good to meet everybody.
