Crikey Steve, it's a good job you put that map up. For no reason whatsoever I had got it into my head Fownhope was close to Shrewsbury and had promised Mhairi a shopping stop as we passed through! Looks like I'm going to have pass Hereford off as Shrewsbury - might not be as hard as you think, Mhairi once trailed us around Paphos old town in baking heat looking for a beautiful square that she subsequently remembered wasn't in Paphos and in fact was in a different country.

We're coming from Retford but with shopping stops and the like will probably have to miss on the convoy down but one back might be on. Mhairi will not be navigating. Andrew
My recommendation Andrew - a little wander around Ross-on-Wye or Ledbury for country quaintness and Ross Labels for serious shopping (there is a cafe there so you can watch the world go by while she gets on with it!): www.labelsoutletshopping.co.uk/

With massive regret, I have had to cancel.... families!!

So there is now a room available at the Green Man for anyone wishing to stay.
Apologies for the late notice.

Rich emailed me and said that he still hopes to make the drive on Sunday so that would be 14. Plus there may be the addition on Sunday of a local car, not yet a PH'er but we can soon change that hehe

As for 13 - it's just a number, I refuse to be superstious about it as my sister's birthday is on July 13th, and both her son's birthday and our dear old Dad's birthday are on August 13th.

Excellent, though we may well be there even if you are a tad late, surprising how long these swift halves can take.whistle

Your ears must have been burning last night Andrew.

I was on the phone to Di and Tony for about an hour and they were telling me how much fun they had with you and Mhairi in North Wales.

They are pretty gutted about missing the meet but ill health can't be taken lightly and I think on the qt that Tony is going to miss his drinking partner wink

Will be coming via the Catthorpe intersection Nick (about halfway for me!) If you want to tag up and travel over in convoy let me know. No issues on time so can be there anytime.
Morning Tony. I aim to leave at 3pm so we could meet at J1 of the M6. Does this suit you?
Sounds good to me Nick. I was aiming to leave around 1 so would get to J1 about 2.45/3.00
I will PM you my mobile number.

All being well I'll be there on Sunday morning, the hungry brown bears in Northern Finland haven't eaten me laugh

Wish I had the Aston up here rather than my powerhouse Skoda Fabia 1.2TSI, passed more reindeers than cars on the roads biggrin
