You will have no trouble keeping up with me Mr Andrews, I can assure you of that wink

Furthermore, my Google Map export runs out at point 44 on the Word Document - so I'm gradually going through the other points to number 72 by hand on the map smile

As a part custodian of the route with Rob and Molly i have no issue in playing "follow my leader" in the middle of the pack or even rear gunner to help the Astonauts who haven't been able to get the route into their TomTom or Garmin

After several nights, well actually 24 hr Daylight watching hairy wildlife running around remote parts of Finland I'll be slightly knackered laugh

See you Sunday (assuming I get back on Saturday night)

My Tomtom only takes 4 way points so who ever is in front of me won't be getting away! We will get lost together!

you should have said, I have a tom tom and would have given it to you with the route on....

Alternatively use your iPhone.

That involves the use of technologhy that I do not understand nor do I wish to understand. I will just have to try my best to keep up driving

Not really Nick.

Just print off the Word Document and highlight the 19 turnings. So long as you can read road signs you should be fine.

Just had a look at the Streetview version of the map and it looks like some breathtaking countryside.

Even if you get lost for an hour you will still remain ahead of me rolleyes

I've just sent you Molly's 3 maps - TomTom, Garmin and Word - Print off the Word one and highlight the 19 Junctions plus 1 loo stop !!

If you have downloaded the free itn converter then export the map using Google Maps in the drop down menu and all will be revealed.

Then you can look at the streetview on every intersection.

And stop smoking in your office - that has been illegal for 5 years now smile

Just read on the TomTom Forum that this transfer process isn't supported by the Via - heads up if you are in the market for a new device.

Go Garmin Go !! smile

Hello chaps,

Right you lot - stop worrying! I fear I may be a compulsive organiser (ok, so Rob says I'm bossy but with the amount of organising he needs that's just thru' necessity tongue out) anyhow, despite this I'm a bit rubbish with technology too so have ensured we have a back-up plan.

This morning I have hired 3 walkie talkies (for front car, middle-man & rear gunner). I've also copied A3 size maps for everyone so you can at least see where you should be & where you should be going, and on these I have added Rob's phone number and the postcode of the destination.

There, anyone who is still worried please put your hand up!

Happy days! hippy

You need an itn conversion program and one of the options is to export to Google maps. If you have your phone connected to a Gmail account then you can save the map on your computer and use it on your phone. Simples. Call me if no joy and I will talk you through it.

Molly it says on the Gliffaes website NOT to use their postcode as it will get you lost a few miles downstream confused

The number of cars is a good one to manage in any case, so I'm sure all will be fine.

Getting lost and run-ins with other drivers is all part of the fun bounce

I'm sure I've given you similar advice in the past, only for you to ignore it and follow the postcode (partially Mikey's fault wink )
