The weather in South Wales is ridiculously bad today. Hopefully it gets better for you tomorrow but make sure you pack an umbrella and coat!

I hope you all have a great day tomorrow with good driving weather and all arrive at the final RV safe and sound, don't forget to steer clear of dodgy Land Rovers that obstruct lanes. I'm so sorry that I am unable to join you on another spirited drive but I'll be looking forward to the write-ups and pictures. thumbup

Great to catch up with everyone, fantastic grub and wine (thanks Nick!) and looking forward to some dry weather and great drive tomorrow.

Dear Diary,

Had a great night out last night with our PH Astonaut friends. Couldn't sleep - too excited about today. Got up at 6.15 & took Chris walkies. Let Rob sleep on - he needs his beauty sleep sleep
After 6 months of planning (idea), re-planning (type), route test-driving (driving), venue testing (lick) and organising (moan) the day has finally arrived when Rob & I get to lead a superb pack of Astons into Wales!

I hope Wales is ready for us - here we come! biggrin

Molly

PS Forecast checked and, at last, it's looking good bounce

What is your route and timings? I'm going out for a blast around Brecon later, so may bump into you.

Well we would be pleased to see you but I wouldn't wish to go into specifics! With a name like Dick Dastardly you could be a traffic cop in disguise!!

However, we plan to leave Fownhope (nr Hereford) at 11am & will be headed to Crickhowell via a circuituous route. If you were to lurk in the petrol station in Crickhowell you might just see/hear us dissapear down the turning opposite. Unable to say what time tho' wink

Those of you wishing to get petrol this morning, we will be there soon after 10 & Molly will go with you (Hereford is closest & will avoid you getting lost)

Just got back home after a wonderful weekend. It was great meeting everyone and the drive today was superb, my only regret was that I didn't get the opportunity to stand at the roadside to see and hear all those awesome cars drive by. It must have been an incredible spectacle for everyone we passed. smile

Many thanks Molly, Rob & TJ for the work you put in to organising the event.

Thanks to everyone for making us feel welcome.

Looking forward to doing it again sometime in the future.
