Yup, great weekend - Thanks Molly (and Rob and TJ of course) !!

I ate so much cake at Afternoon Tea....it was if the Cockernee were looking over my shoulder biggrin

So many lovely new amigos to go with the great bunch from Hever.

Special thanks to Tony and Jamie for tolerating my slowness at the rear. At one stage I'm sure I was consuming at a rate of 38 mpg yes

Regards from my stunning wife too smile

Indeed, was a fun little blat to the petrol station (again) for me!!

Roof off back to London, exhaust in stealth mode and suspension set to 'cossetting'. Very relaxing.

Great to see the usual suspects and some new faces, wish I'd ploughed into those cakes more now smile Jockman ate Johng39's share anyway biggrin

And non-Devon people, for reference; cream goes onto the scone first (it's a luxurious butter substitute), then a dollop of jam on top. If the jam is sliding off, you're holding it at the wrong angle!!

Excellent event, excellent evening and meal, excellent company, excellent drive. Thanks Molly and Rob, will certainly do it again. Thanks to everyone for being such a great bunch. Captain Slow (Les) drove home so we never did catch Stirling Moss Jockman up.

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments & feedback. Rob & I had a great time too.

A couple of things have made my day today. One was a particularly nice PH'er (he has NDW on his number plate wink) who gave me a birthday/thankyou gift of a bottle of red & and bottle of white (beer very nice too!!). The other was acknowledgement from 2 respected members of our forum that I can drive too bounce - which means more to me than you might think!

Thanks also to Token Jock (John) and his sidekick, Andy and Tony (V12V) and his son, Jamie, for being mid and rear gunners with the walkie talkies. We had a plan and it worked out! Thanks guys byebye

Devon = cream then jam
Cornwall = jam then cream
As I was instructed on the cream tea tour laugh

Glad you all had a good day but

Great run guys - absolutely superb organisation, route, people, cars, hotel, meal, country... I could go on. biggrin

Thanks to Molly & Rob for all their hard work - must have been terrible tracing the entirety of the Brecon Beacons in your Aston searching for that route! Hats off to both of you. smile

I'll leave you, for now, with this passing shot...

Big thank you to TJ, Rob and Molly for all the Organizing and effort they put in! Made my weekend/week for certain, haven't had afternoon tea in such a nice location for quite some time! I'll post some of the poor iphone photos I took later on when work isn't so busy. Hope everyone had a safe trip back, look forward to seeing some more great photos! smile
