Yup, great weekend - Thanks Molly (and Rob and TJ of course) !!
I ate so much cake at Afternoon Tea....it was if the Cockernee were looking over my shoulder
So many lovely new amigos to go with the great bunch from Hever.
Special thanks to Tony and Jamie for tolerating my slowness at the rear. At one stage I'm sure I was consuming at a rate of 38 mpg
Regards from my stunning wife too

What wicked fun that was. The best bunch of guys and gals you could ever wish to meet. Thanks a million to Rob and Amanda for organising. On a side note it seems Molly is quite handy behind the wheel after suggesting I follow her to Hereford !!!! Time for a glass of Vino Catch you all in the week
Just got back at about 7.45 ish thanks to everyone for making the weekend very memorable new faces and old, and a big thanks to rob gt and Molly gt ! Now I have just got to remember not to floor it every time I see a national speed limit sign, had a play with an xkr between the motor way and home he came away with his tail between his legs cheers mike

Indeed, was a fun little blat to the petrol station (again) for me!! Roof off back to London, exhaust in stealth mode and suspension set to 'cossetting'. Very relaxing.
Great to see the usual suspects and some new faces, wish I'd ploughed into those cakes more now Jockman ate Johng39's share anyway
And non-Devon people, for reference; cream goes onto the scone first (it's a luxurious butter substitute), then a dollop of jam on top. If the jam is sliding off, you're holding it at the wrong angle!!
Sorry Lewis I have to disagree, along with the Ritz

Thanks everyone for the lovely comments & feedback. Rob & I had a great time too.A couple of things have made my day today. One was a particularly nice PH'er (he has NDW on his number plate ) who gave me a birthday/thankyou gift of a bottle of red & and bottle of white ( very nice too!!). The other was acknowledgement from 2 respected members of our forum that I can drive too - which means more to me than you might think!
Thanks also to Token Jock (John) and his sidekick, Andy and Tony (V12V) and his son, Jamie, for being mid and rear gunners with the walkie talkies. We had a plan and it worked out! Thanks guys

Great run guys - absolutely superb organisation, route, people, cars, hotel, meal, country... I could go on.
Thanks to Molly & Rob for all their hard work - must have been terrible tracing the entirety of the Brecon Beacons in your Aston searching for that route! Hats off to both of you.
I'll leave you, for now, with this passing shot...

Big thank you to TJ, Rob and Molly for all the Organizing and effort they put in! Made my weekend/week for certain, haven't had afternoon tea in such a nice location for quite some time! I'll post some of the poor iphone photos I took later on when work isn't so busy. Hope everyone had a safe trip back, look forward to seeing some more great photos!
