Thanks George! Do say more about the number plate thingy.... If you are referring to the black license plate mounting bracket, it's mostly covered up when I get the permenant tag for the car?
Those 2 huge bulbous lumps sticking out on the number plate holder are the bits I don't like. I'd remove those reflectors on the sides of the bumper too.George H said:

Got it. Unfortunatley, that would leave holes in the trunk as US plates are not nearly as wide as UK/Euro versions. Plus I have to be able to illuminate the plate or I'll get pulled over.... Its also where the trunk opening button is located. Is there a solution I may not be aware of? The reflectors are lights too and would also leave holes in the bumper covers... Not much I can do about either unless there are solutions I may not be aware of?LRDog said:

Perhaps you can get a numberplate that fills the space on the boot like the UK versions. I can't see any reason why someone couldn't press a metal plate the same size as the UK DB9 plates. I thought it wouldn't have the lights in that, I presumed it was an add on so that AM didn't have to re-engineer it to meet ridiculous US safety regulations. Same with the reflectors, I presumed they were just stick on ones.Still a lovely car though, great colour choice

Cannot change the shape/size of plates in the US..... .....per the bolded part above. Still a lovely car though, great colour choice
Thanks on the color compliment.

On one of our factory visits to Gaydon we were told that the reflectors/lights on front and rear are actually recessed into the moulded bumper and are standard U.S. issue and have to be there to meet some safety regulations relating to length and width perception to other drivers
True statement! Have seen many gray-market cars here in the US with "stuck on" looking side markers....George H said:

Here's a pic of the rear. Looks like it's one piece....Here's a pic of the beautiful Winchester Blue Metallic paintwork to get the thread back on track. It looks like glass in person. Sorry for the momentary distraction.....
