After a spell away from Aston ownership, I'm back in the game. This friday I take delivery of this V12 Vantage in Almond Green. Properly excited.
That is a beautiful, beautiful, bite the back of my hand, gorgeous V12. On paper almond should not work on a V12 but in the real world it's simply stunning. Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm very proud of her. It's a strange colour but I do love it. Will certainly let you know if I plan to sell her. I'm aiming to make the next Pistonheads meet early next year when it's announced so make sure you come over and say hi if you're around.

I know what you mean buddy. I took a look at the photographs and specs and immediately was a little put off. After I saw it I was hooked. This week is now really dragging woodsypedia said:

This week is now really dragging I have to say the dealer pictures were awful, just seeing your pictures makes the car a lot more appealing! It is very marmite but as long as you like it who cares
I have to say that I like it and is the sort of colour that looks it's best when really shiny. A brave man to spec it from New and I admire that. We see so many cars that are bought just because they think it will be easier to shift in a couple of years, rather than buying what they really want. There is something about Aston's that makes them really suit green as a colour. I've worked on so many different colours and to be honest, I would struggle to choose one if I was speccing my own v12.
I wonder what colour will suit the vantage's replacement the best (db10)

Nice to see another S2000 owner jumping on to an Ason
Also nice colour choice with the sport pack as well!
It was nice to see you return to S2K ownership too, i followed your s2k modding with great interest. Good to see you forging a path in the Aston too, and the 'findings' you've made have helped me ask the right questions in relation to my own purchase. Also nice colour choice with the sport pack as well!
Sportspack, Manual and lightweight seats too

Is that JCT600 in Leeds?
That is one VERY rare Aston to have that combination of options!

Never used to be a fan of Yellow. Just happened to be in the market for an s2k and it was very close to home so thought i would go an see it. After the positive reaction of people at the dealership and the wife i thought why not! I like the fact it stands out, and the Y52P colour on the Honda is actually very close to the Sunburst yellow on the Aston. I'm sure i'll get irritated by the colour come summer when the bugs start trying to mate with it lol.Is that JCT600 in Leeds?

It is indeed JCT600 in Leeds.
