Viridian Green was the colour of the original Vantage V8S Roadster press car. Looks absolutely fantastic. I am also aware that there is a Viridian Green manual V12VS with Lightweight seats somewhere in the UK which is one of the few cars that could drag me out of my current V8S if it ever became available .......

Sounds lovely and very rare with also the lightweight seats, do you also know what color interior that one has? hope something special as well.

Well "special" depends on your taste and, personally, I like a dark interior and I think it suits the car with the green stitching. The only thing I'd change immediately would be to put some of the carbon fibre door handles in but that wouldn't be a problem because I have them in my V8S anyway.Ale_72 said:
Loving that 100%. I had a blue interior on a blue 911 and was never a fan, until I saw blue paired with brighter colours like red, yellow and green by the likes of Lamborghini and thought it looked amazing. Even Volvo had a blue interior for their red V70Rs (when they still had balls).I'm also loving the fact the first buyer was so "CONFIDENT", especially when he was no doubt being heckled by the supplying dealer to choose Resale Grey. I had to stop myself using the word "BRAVE" there, as that word always rankles when I read about someone going against herd mentality, and honestly what the hell is brave about choosing to live your life in colour?

I have just realised Pete, with that Mk 3 'waterfall' I cannot see a radio, but presumably it does have one.
Is music etc. operated in a different way?
PS. Did the famous V12V gearknob disappear on the later V12 cars?
Yes the power-rangers foot was lost, in favour of a more normal V8 type gearknob, albeit that it had an enamel 7spd gate sign on the top rather than the printed one behind a lens on the 6spd. It was a real shame they downgraded the knob itself, but the V600 did reinstate it albeit in some form of an anodised black finish. One day I might try get one of those! That said the 7spd box is so superb and engaging to use that you can forgive its cosmetic downgrade.
One thing that always irked me on manual vantages, and the V12V was no exception to this, was that the gear gaiter always used the cheaper Strathmore leather, even if the rest of the car had been specced with upgraded Caithness leather, which most were. Once you've seen that the leather is inferior and doesn't quite match the rest, you really cant un-see it! That was one of the reasons why I specced a custom Q gaiter this time.

After a silver V8 and black V12 , and a few years away from Aston I’m back with a N430 in green and yellow .
At last I can post on this thread .
The green really looks good in day light, and maybe not everybody’s taste , but I love the yellow highlights . Drives pretty well too ??
I was in Aston Bristol a couple of weeks ago and they had two in this colour/ model in stock an auto and a manual one of them I can’t remember which was very highly specked…..As an ‘X ‘ V12VS owner myself how do you find it as a comparison……to your V12 is the N430 a manual ?At last I can post on this thread .
