I was in Aston Bristol a couple of weeks ago and they had two in this colour/ model in stock an auto and a manual one of them I can’t remember which was very highly specked…..As an ‘X ‘ V12VS owner myself how do you find it as a comparison……to your V12 is the N430 a manual ?
I’m no driving god or track attendee but my summary would be that it doesn’t feel any less special than my V12, just a different flavour .Compared to my 2010 V8, the S suspension and steering are much closer to the V12, which was much nicer . The steering is better weighted and the later suspension has an improved ride. With the early v12 I always felt that you were looking for safe places to deploy the engine, whereas with the N430 I can “drive” it more, more of the time.
I was looking for a manual AMR v8 , last of the line and I liked the lime highlights . But when I saw the N430 the colour scheme really made an impact, and mechanically they are pretty much the same I think ( others more knowledgeable may comment ). I do prefer the older centre console to the haptic too, just feels more exquisitely detailed- if a bit trickier to use . And it was £25k cheaper as well !
I’m only a few weeks in, but this might be my Vantage sweet spot, and feeling like a keeper , and with the saving I could upgrade to the AMR twin plate clutch to improve the weighting and faster engine response.

I appreciate you taking the time and replying….yours does look great and hope you enjoy her….I’ve given my requirements to Aston Bristol and to a couple of independent’s and will continue to watch the market carefully….. a manual AMR would be great but I’d be more than happy with an N430…. and like you I love yellow accents….With the early v12 I always felt that you were looking for safe places to deploy the engine, whereas with the N430 I can “drive” it more, more of the time.

Loving that 100%. I had a blue interior on a blue 911 and was never a fan, until I saw blue paired with brighter colours like red, yellow and green by the likes of Lamborghini and thought it looked amazing. Even Volvo had a blue interior for their red V70Rs (when they still had balls).
I'm also loving the fact the first buyer was so "CONFIDENT", especially when he was no doubt being heckled by the supplying dealer to choose Resale Grey. I had to stop myself using the word "BRAVE" there, as that word always rankles when I read about someone going against herd mentality, and honestly what the hell is brave about choosing to live your life in colour?
Thanks! Maybe the previous owner was just lucky but when I saw the advert I simply knew that, after one year of looking at grey/black cars, I found the right one for me.I'm also loving the fact the first buyer was so "CONFIDENT", especially when he was no doubt being heckled by the supplying dealer to choose Resale Grey. And the blue... it's really blue. Much more blue than the 911 blue I remember (the same color combo you had on your 911 was my dream on a 964, but the only car I found had somehow a too obscure history - then I bought one red and black).

Lovely example! Enjoy As for the V8S, N430 and V8 AMR’s, they were all the same mechanically. They are differentiated by different trim and paint schemes. All superb and all deserving of a secondary de-cat
The non-S was pretty much the same as the S spec too from the “2012.25” model year updates apart from the last 10bhp. You don’t notice that in the slightest. The S had the sports exhaust, but both could be spec’d with “Comfort” or “Sports” suspension. Ditto lightweight seat options.
Basically, you can’t really go wrong with whatever Vantage you choose, be it V8 or V12! It becomes a question of spec and what suits you. And you have a great example there.

Went to AM Milano yesterday to have lunch with the workshop manager and the other two Italian forum members here and THIS was there for service.
Quite a... peculiar combo, I guess it's Q? In the sun the car was really shining, but maybe a bit too much... Joker?
P.S. Sorry for the crappy interior angle but I feel uncomfortable taking pictures of other people's cars when technicians are there, privacy and all.

I know, right? It could have been a more "toned down" and realistic take on a Joker car in one of the more serious movies, not the over the top Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn and the 90s Batman ones.Ale_72 said:
@EVR you had my same idea.
Such a peculiar combo cannot go unshared! If you have more pics, go for it.I would love to know the colours names and origins, I am a sucker for them.
