To all that are going to Hever today, I sincerely hope you have a fantastic day and that the weather is good for you, it's a fantastic location to meet some fantastic Aston owners, and organised by a great bloke. Get the piccies up A.S.A.P. Really dissapointed we couldn't make it this year, but hopefully next year. All the best T

I've woken up to the wind and rain lashing against the bedroom windows and thought.....I know......perfect weather for getting the V12V out of it's dry garage and driving to a stately home. Not!!! Oh, sod it! I need a break from the home renovation. See you there in an hour or so. At least the wet will cover up just how dirty he is. Am I right to think that we just pile up in Something with a winged badge on the front (don't start in on the Cygnet owners now!!) and the rest just happens?

Fantastic cars as expected. My wife was particularly impressed with a black Vantage convertible (I think it as a V12 but I have to check my pictures) which was leaving when we arrived. I think a lady was driving it A lot of green cars
I will post pictures if some are really nice (took a lot of them)
On the way back we also stopped at Aston Lancaster in Sevenoaks. They were open with quite a few people testing cars (while we were there a white V8 Vantage, a silver Virage and a black Rapide were going in and out) and refreshments

Lovely day and I didn't even turn up in the Aston Weather was kind enough and plenty of cars turned out, from early DBs to that lovely Lagonda, a very nice cross-section of our society! I even rejoined AMOC after a 6 month lapse Great to add ever more faces to names and meet up with the usual suspects as well - looking forward to the Welsh Border Run in a few weeks! And Ambassador Jockman... with this 2005 vintage you are really spoiling us! My car sounded utterly insane, when I won the little 1:43 model of the Lola Aston LMP1 I realised what sound the engine made... the sound of the Le Mans V12 of 2009! Some good money raised too, Mr Hall will be along with the grand total directly. The day was definitely a success though!

Molly GT said: Sorry to hear that - you were obviously looking forward to it. How about coming on the Welsh borders run in 3 weeks time instead - our numbers stand at 19 (Big Tony had to drop out) so we could squeeze you in instead. Would that compensate or are we too far away Thank Molly. We will be away for the Welsh Borders run but that would have more than compensated as my wife's family is from Wales so she would have loved that. Sounded like a great day at Hever today. I can't tell you how depressing it has been knowing everyone was out there having a great day. But sometimes things conspire against you. Thanks again for the offer.
