Curiosity got the better of me today and I found myself at a bit of a loose end, so off to Macclesfield for a mooch round Bridge Mill Motors. What a nice bunch of guys, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I had a great chat and found them to be very competetive with prices and above all accommodating, a good day out.thumbup

Hi guys, my name is Dunc and I look after the website for Bridge Mill Motors. On behalf of Nick and Adam, I just wanted to say thanks to those who have given feedback and taken the time to write honest reviews about the garage in this post. They are both pleased that those of you who have trusted them with your pride and joy are happy with the service you have received, so your feedback is appreciated. Would you mind if I copied your feedback into the review section of Bridge Mill's website (with links back to PistonHeads of course)?

If anyone else would like to drop by, mooch around, test their knowledge or just have a chat about Astons, then the doors are always open.

Thanks again
Dunc

Thanks Dunc - would be more advisable to get Nick / Adam to join up for non-advertising tips etc a la DMS.

Furthermore, get them to start keeping pigs in the back yard. Could come in handy...whistle

Hi All
Had a chat with Adam regarding a replacement DB9 transmission cooler kit,as transmission oil was leaking from the pipe work, he was aware of the problem on the DB9 and quoted a very reasonable price to supply and install the kit that Aston have produced to resolve the issue, when I dropped the car off i recognized Adam from Stratstone in wilmslow, he had fitted the sports pack to my car a few years ago when he worked for them which i am very happy with, at Bridge Mill Motors they fitted the transmission cooler kit, carried out a couple of other small jobs, when i collected the car it had been cleaned and was well presented,i was shown all the old parts that had been replaced and had a chat about about upgrades,i found them very up to speed with the product and would have no hesitation in recommending Bridge Mill Motors to anyone and intend to utilize their services to maintain the car.

I had my DB9 serviced there for the second time in my ownership this week. It was a 1 year/10k service and I am very happy with the result and cost. I arrived first thing and waited until the work was complete then drove the 170 miles home with the car performing faultlessly. The first service was a 10 year service so as to change all fluids and filters also a couple of minor repairs, this following a pre purchase inspection Adam had performed. The car had previously had a patchy service history but a low mileage.

I have found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and on that basis would happily recommend them to you. Hope this helps.

I can thoroughly recommend Bridge Mill - they supplied a courteous and comprehensive service (collect, fault find and repair) when my local main dealer was anything but helpful

Yes, I have used them on both the Astons I have had. Carried out the annual service this year at half the cost of main dealer and carried out one or two minor repairs for me free of charge. Cannot fault them. Their service and knowledge is second to none.

I've had my Vantage and other family cars looked after by the guys at Bridge Mill Motors for the last two years. Fantastic service and they will quite often advise against doing work if they don't feel it's necessary. Always accommodating, even if just a phone call to ask advice.

The garage is always full of Astons and I've spotted the odd Ferrari and Porsche in there too - testament to the quality of the work they do. They are very highly regarded and rightly so.

Anyone know how much a 10K DB9 service would cost?

Crikey that's low mileage for 11 years or so.

I know year 7 is expensive but best give them a call and ask. Pretty sure they can do a collection service still.
