It is a virtual rendering but a real development version of the car does exist at Pro-Drive. Personally I think it looks like a pretty ghastly Max power attempt with that front bumper.

Or the classic Aston Martin sage green which is very tasty on the older cars....

Ah, that pic is of an even rarer example whose owner loved Ferrari 250GT Berlinettas so much that he commissioned the rather oddly profiled front wings to incorporate external round headlights.

IMHO the 'normal' version with the E-type esque internal round lights behind perspex covers looks absolutely gorgeous.

Excellent, at last!

Last year I read they were going to enter an LMP900 too.
I hope so.

I agree a beautiful design,by one of the most gifted and under rated italian designers by the name of Ercole Spada at .

It was his first design at Zagato at age of 23.

I also think it's a photoshop or at least altered image.

It does have a Prodrive 550 maranello front end ,but would like to see the finished car in racing livery.

It will be fantastic..........

Rumoured to be in excess of £600K if you want one. But even then, you will have to be invited by the factory to buy one.

The reflection of the wheels don't seem to match up with the ones on the car.

I think I may be able to solve this question.

I was talking to one of the dealers a short while ago who told me that after Aston had finished with the racing DB9 (currently being assembled by Prodrive) Aston will sell customers a "club sport" version, which is a semi-racer which will be eligable for the GT series. And, with a bit more work road legal.

Think or it as Aston's version of a CS, CSL or GT3R...

I rekon that picture (as someone said, with wing mirrors) is a proposed car.

Oh, and don't forget that if you cannot affted a genuine DB4 GT Zagato, you could find a sanction II Zagato. Thes'll probably be ablout £5,000 cheaper!!!

the car is abso-bloody-lutly gorgeous BUT...

i think Ed has been purchasing news and pics from autoexpress!!! that picture is VERY suspect!

for a clue... look closely at the reflection of the front spoiler on the floor.... most notably its not there!!

Tell that to Aston Martin - they've got the same pick on their own website!
