I still think it's mouth is too fat. You could suck me up in that beast.
And is it just me or have they ruined the DBR9 by making it green with yellow lipstick? The lipstick thing worked with the original Golf GTi, but the line was very, very thin, and the red doesn't stand out as much as the yellow on green. Plus, the dark paint hides all the good looking lines. Shame really. It could have been a fantastic looking car.

Yes, its tradition. In the 50s, to distinguish one car from another when entering the pits they used different colours: red, yellow and blue. The colour which seemed to win most (and certainly won Le Mans/ 1000KM in Nuremburg and the TT at Goodwood in 59) was yellow. The second car (hopefully) will be a different colour
Hope you guys have been watching the Sebring 12 hr race on Motor TV..... DBR9 currently placed 1st in GT1 ahead of the two Corvettes!!!!!

Now, now William. The Masser was'nt really racing just 'making up numbers'. Anyway, the ACO won't let them in. I just hope that with only one more race before Le Mans the DBR's development can keep up with the 'Vettes. They were pretty good too for a new car. I hope Prodrive get their brake discs from a different supplier...

this is the smuggest post I have ever done. Car 59 will be driven by my very best mate who also drives the DB1, both will be at Le mans as plans stand.
Oh joy of Joys to be one who actually knows something for once.
Maybe this is my 15 mins (or 15 seconds at internet speed)
G
That is actually quite cool.
