I think the previous owner of my car was very lazy as my grill has water stains upper and lower, bit of a bugger trying to shift them. Car shampoo & polish not working well :-(
Mr Muscle "shower shine" dissolves limescale. It should work.

Neil, what techniques and products do you reccomend for keeping the early DB7 i6 engine compartments clean and prresentabe? I'm afraid to blast it with a steam gun due to all the old electrical connections and taped up conduits. I've done several hours of cleaning by hand, but the lower areas are still rather dirty and greasy. Thanks!

Is Paddy able to update this at all? Great article but ruined by the fact most of the links are now broken and Photobucket's new rules on photo hosting.

I tried Megulas Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo.

Whether it is the best, who knows, but the froth in the bucket and on the car does remain for a long time.

Have previously been using Simoniz Shampoo, but half way through washing, there has never been much froth remaining in the bucket.

Get yourself some bilthamber shampoo. The megs gold class is full of rubbish. Smells nice though.
