Talking of which.....DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF sMURPH BECAMES A FATHER OVER THE WEEKEND !! smile
Yup, O.J. sMurph duly arrived last Wednesday at just under 7lbs woohoo

Andy is a bit overawed at the moment - me too as I've been loosely included in his middle name weeping

And so the sMurph empire begins....smile

Just buying property which comes with this; agent describes it as a "car barn". Reckon a lick of paint and half a dozen downlighters should get it up to RobGT's standard. cool

Seriously, great effort guy's, hope my project ends up half (no a quarter) as good as the ones posted on here.

It's certainly a challenge, as will the planners be when I submit plans for a four car garage yikes having said that I might not even stretch to one of Georges mouldcoons once the house has been sorted.eek

On another note just noted you're past 3k postings- great contribution, and likewise the Aston thread is within 700 of 100k, I'm sure you and George could crack that in the next couple of days if you set your mind to it.argue

I fear others will disagree with the 'great contribution' part Andrew biggrin

I note Shmee has just gone past the 5000 mark too - in 5 years mind you - and Georgeous H is not far behind after 20 months !!!

I feel I still have a lot to give.....tumbleweed

What has happened to your shut line? Is the bonnet partially open?

Nowt a gentle tap with a hammer wouldn't fix.

Failing that you could screw through and secure it to the metal thingy underneath. Just make sure you countersink the screw hole and use a dark filler otherwise it will look st.

Next Question smile

Bit unfair mate...

I've tried to give some good constructive advice above on how to correctly align one's bonnet.

Tough audience you lot smile

Ah a 'dooer uper' bit of MDF and soft focus and one of those TV shows would call that a Barn Conversion!

Don't worry - I keep my Aston in a barn. Gets a bit dusty but otherwise OK! Have to keep a close eye out when the swallow nesting season starts, though ... shoot

Thanks. I'll try the hammer first.

The photo was related to the NEWS - my homage to Newport Pagnell.

Brilliant. You've been around on here long enough to know that subtlety doesn't work on here! Completely missed that, but fully understand now
