To be fair George they were spot on with the service and MOT, I couldn't fault them, they were very accommodating and the price was very good, and once the paint issue was highlighted they sorted it straight away no fuss, the main problem was the electrical issue which took up most of the time, it baffled pretty much everyone, even at HQ they had no definative answer only a long winded way around it which would be a huge expense and more time away, it was a fault they couldn't replicate so I took her home. It took my 8 year old to inadvertantly highlight the fault which when I took it back to them the service guys acted on it straight away, found the fault and fixed it FOC. I'm now one very happy man.

We went the other night (it was ok) but her opening evening a couple of weeks ago attracted the attendance of Michel Roux Jnr and Greg Wallace?

Went to the Riverhill on Tuesday night and the food was was truly awful......Iit was like eating in a restaraunt from the 80's ......toast melba, sara lee sweet trolley and freezing cold cheese which had obviosly been purchased from Aldi......my 85 year old father and 79 year old mother loved it ........I can only think that Clair the chef is being held back by the owner of the hotel .....will not be returning

After the very successful Friday/Saturday just thought I would post this up again to remind all Wirral owners that we are planning to meet in Oxton on the Wirral for a beer and to compare our perfectly balanced cars

I spoke to Mike(the owner) of the OBT (Oxton Bar and Terrace) and he has agreed to cordon off a section of his car park for May16th…..it’s only a small car park so there will be space for about 8-10 Astons ……..The plan is to meet between 6-8pm and perhaps have some food there, which is very good for pub food. I shall be bringing my gorgeous wife who will enjoy taking the piss out of all of us all…..I’m sure Jockman will be bringing Karen and I hope others attending will bring their partners. www.oxtonbar.co.ukThe list we have is Michael Gould DB9 Jockman DB9 F1 NDW Vanquish ACG V8V Chris DB7 Tony t1blk DB9 Gorgeous H DB9? Lunablack V8V Scoobysnack V8V Please add or remove your name accordingly Look forward to meeting you all on the 16th

I wish I could make this as it would bring back memories. I spent some of my childhood in and around Crosby and Blundell Sands (what are those concrete people about!), and my mum was born in Bootle and the family moved to Birkenhead and then to Blundell Sands. I remember we went to the docks to watch the ships and the ferries and my grandad was with the customs. Probably a bit far to go for 2-3 hours

Mr G, I was under the impression that this was a drivers only type of meeting for a bit of banter, photos, piss-taking etc. You are turning it into a family night out, which is fine if everyone else is ok with that
