Yep and the pin badge is a cracking idea. Looks really good in comparison to the plastic one.

Hi Zod,

I have been trying to reach you on email but I am not receiving any replies. Did you receive the updates email at all ?
I am missing your shipping address. Can you PM me ?

I have shipped the first 15 this week. Yours is part of the second batch to be sent before the end of the month (most probably on Monday 28th).
I am doing them in parallel and I am half-way through them.

I have just bought one of these. Dimensions look like they should fit fine but obviously not received yet. Only a few left so thought I would share.

All done took my time and it works great and looks fantastic. Just need to find that lapel badge!
It was worth the wait - thanks Michael.

A bit of advice - Dont fit the key together if you then decide to fit a badge to the front . The key needs to come apart to fit it so best to fit badge and assemble key at the same time.

Is it not possible to fit then? Is it not just a case of double sided tape?

I guess you could do it like that , i drilled a little hole in the front of the case and mounted the pin by a small amount of epoxy inside the case , i did it like this so the badge should be secure when in use not so sure just sticky will do it. The pin i used is not completely flush on the back , so to mount with sticky you are going to need to dremel it flat.

For those who need more of the double sided tape. I used the UniBond 'No more nails' permanent strips from B&Q. They have just the right thickness and are very strong. You would just need to trim them to the right width by using one of the metallic side plate as guide for your knife.

Ok. I have now sold all of the first 30 CFRP keys :-)

I have received more demand and I will do a very last final batch of 15 keys (to the despair of my wife !).

If you are interested, then please get in touch with me as I am already within the last 10.

Hi - I expressed interest earlier in this thread. Please advise what to do to "solidify" interest into order? Cheers!

The second batch has been shipped today as planned.

I have a few left on the final batch (I promised my wife I will not do anymore after that....) for end of February.
Just PM me if you are interested.

Mine arrived thanks Mike. Nice work, well worth waiting for. I will probably replace the badge and then tackle the fitting procedure using your doc full of helpful pictures.

Thank you, Michael. My pin badge arrived yesterday, so I was able to complete my CF ECU and it was used for the first time this morning:

are the buttons 'marked' or do you have to guess/remember :-)

From the photos, it's not clear

You have to remember or guess. Funnily enough, I find that without the markings I know which is which. With the markings, I sometimes have to look. confused

How did you fit it - superglue ? Did you need to flatten the end ?

I used superglue. First, I had to remove the pin and its base, using a Dremel. Then I had to bend the badge a little.
