I am interested too subject to final costings - but as posted above would really prefer the carbon to be finished in the same satin finish as is fitted to the V12V / V8VS.

Finish. Both gloss and matte can be made.
The idea would be to keep all internal parts from the plastic key and just swap the shell, which should be a straight forward job.
Mb1 For button labels, I don't mean on the buttons themselves, but right above/below them. Even if you just duplicate the symbols that are on the glass key buttons (which is what I think is invisibly stamped on the rubber buttons). Oh yeah, you could make it part of the James Bond collection by working a 22 caliber single shot pistol into it. That would be cool.

Seems to be a fair bit of interest in the ECU and Volvo style key. Is there a possibility this will now progress?

Yes, I have a list of about 25-30 who have shown interest.
I made the CAD models this week and sent to manufacturer for quotation.
I will come back later this week with a price.

So far I have 27 for the ECU and only 3 Volvo. So I am starting with the ECU. We will see about the Volvo after the ECU is successful.
It might take a couple of weeks before I get the prices. So please be patient :-)
