I've snow foamed it , washed it, then polished it with Swissvax. Raring to go now.
Looking forward to a great weekend.

Well our Astonauts weekend starts this afternoon woohoo

We are heading north later (staying near Chesterfield tonight) and would like to fit in a visit to York tomorrow if possible (parking recommendations anyone? scratchchin).

Look forward to seeing you all in the bar tomorrow evening beer
Mhairi, being very experienced in these matters, always uses the park and ride. There's one at the York Designer Outlet ( they use the term loosely, there are one or two good shops but it isn't nearly as good as the one I recall many years ago at Bicester) Location is http://www.itravelyork.info/park-and-ride/park-and... This does, however, involve the use of PUBLIC TRANSPORT eek so I often park at the Queen Street car park near the station in the old railway sheds. The spaces are more door friendly than any multi-storey, you will be approaching York on the A64 so you turn off onto the A1036 towards the city centre and Queen Street is a left turn just as you get to the city walls. It is then a 10 minute walk across the river to the Minster.

Mhairi ALWAYS goes to Betty's for lunch/ afternoon tea or just a coffee. http://www.bettys.co.uk/bettys_york.aspx. You have to queue outside it's so popular but it's worth the wait - however insist on a table on the ground floor NOT downstairs.

I'm suprised they don't charge me extra for all the little bits of rag and sponge they leave hanging off the trims etc. smile
