Well having spent most of August on holiday and then most of September wishing I hadn't with work I appear to have completely missed this thread!

Living in York and working in Leeds (another accountant!) it would be remiss of me not to at least make an attempt to join in with the Sunday morning meander around my own local roads.

Has the timing and route for Sunday been agreed as may be easier to try once you head out of West Yorkshire and head into North Yorkshire.

Excellent David just a pity you can't make it to the Saturday dinner. Would have looked forward to having a good discussion about switching from IFRS to UK GAAP, making use of ES-PASE and Clarified ISA's to name a few. Looks like I'll just have to put up with talking about cars, driving, holidays and drinking. At times I think it's only we accountants who truly know how to have a good time.frown

I generally like to stick to subjects I know something about or have experience of Phil.
Bugger, come to think of it that rules out IFRS, UK GAAP. ES-PASE and ISA's as well.confused

fk it....if we can talk about the conversion from UK GAAP to IFRS (not done many back the other way) then maybe I will have to come to dinner too. We can always dumb down and talk about stiffies to keep Cockman entertained wink

I'd just like to point out that I too was referring to stiffies in the context of the funeral trade and nothing else when I said I generally like to stick to subjects I know something about or have experience of. whistle

Jockman, I did a special route for you that cuts out about 40miles, this way can start with everyone and finish ahead of everyone and get to the cakes first hehe

Also you won't have to worry about Toby's V12V looming in your mirrors all the way round wink
