It's the other side of the world..... And besides Oulton is the best track ever..smile

I'm not greedy, I've had a brill weekend, so I'm happy for now...

Oh by the way.... I'm an official fan of Joe Francis in the 125 class....he was parked next to me, and helped me level the vansmile
He had a heavy fall on Sunday, but got up dusted himself down and finished 7th in the race... He's only 14...And aiming for the Spanish championship if he has a good season in BSB

He wrecked his gloves so I gave him a few quid towards a new pair he was dead chuffed... Does that make me a sponsorhehe

In your camper you can go to the other side of the world though! Cadwell > Oulton I'm afraid too wink

Are you at Oulton for BTCC? Might have a look over for that smile

Btw, you can sponsor me if you like when I take up track days later in the year! £1200 for some Dainese leathers would be a massive help biggrin

You mean the Honda cup... BTCC my arse.... I used to go when there were more than 3 manufacturers.... But if I'm honest I find all car racing boring....and I certainly wouldn't pay money to watch it....

I do like the Irish Tarmac rallying thoughsmile

As for sponsorship, I only support riders with talenthehe..... But seriously... I wouldn't be wasting my money on Dainese... They're ok for fashion victims, but if you want protection.... BKS...

You know that I'm a fashion victim! Something like this will do me fine: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dainese-Titanium-Bora-On...

Going to get my helmet tomorrow too biggrin Quite tempted by this now - http://www.racevisors.co.uk/product/agv-helmet-k3-...

Still, I think a cheapish Rossi one will do me until I pass my test then I can treat myself to an Iannone one smile

It's no skin off my nose, arm, legs, back, arse etc etc, what ever you choose..smile. I can only advise, if you wish to wear inferior gear, it's entirely your choice..

Just try not to crash ehsmile

I had a look at some BKS ones, but they don't have elbow sliders hehebiggrin

On a more serious note, I thought Dainese were some of the best leathers you can get? Or so I've been told.

Let's put it this way them.... And see if it sinks inhehe

When I had a load of mates doing club racing, and track days... And they were all just ordinary working lads, whom had to be ready for work on Monday morning.... They all wore BKS or Crowtree...

The road riders, weekend warriors, and fashion victims wore dainesesmile

I'm sure that dainese are fine on the road, where you have a big off, the quality of the leathers is probably not that relevant...
No matter how good they are, they ain't gonna stop you hitting a tree, car, telegraph pole etc..

But on the track, where most tip offs result in sliding down the track on your ear, you want to get up, kick the bike straight and get back out.... You can't do that if the arm has been ripped off your leathers.....
Don't be under any illusion that the Dainese that Rossi wears are the same that you can buy...

My friend Gary, must have crashed his ZXR400 10 or 12 times over 2 seasons.... He never got a serious injury, and his leathers never needed even a minor repair.... In fact since he gave up the club racing, he still uses the same suit on his road bike.... That suit is about 10 years old...
