I think you may be missing my point. The stone guards do not come with any mounting hardware, even if you buy them from the dealer. The mounting hardware is the already on your car because it uses the same fasteners that are used to hold the wheel well liners and the leading edge of the sills in place. You remove them from your car, mount the stone guards and put the same hardware back on to hold them in place. One screw is a bit too short to go through the guard and the wheel liner and will need to be replaced with a longer one. AM will sell you that screw separately, but a trip to the hardware store will get you what you need.
Thanks, that's brilliant I haven't looked to see what's there already!

This is the only place that the search took me, so I assumed that this was it

The stone guard issue is an interesting one.
When I bought my V8v roadster the dealer informed me that I couldn't have stone guards fitted as I had the 420 sills.
Anyone know if I was given duff info?, the sills look similar to V12V to my untrained eye......

Not correct in the UK. As you rightly say the kit uses SOME existing points and does require a longer screw but does require a plastic inset/ plasnut fitting (supplied with my kit at least) to be put into the inner arch liner AFTER you have drilled the hole in a suitable position.
The stone guards were originally designed for the V8V with either standard or N400 sills. If you mount it on the cars it was intended for, no drilling is required. This is not the same for the V8VS or V12V which will require some modification.

Your dealer misinformed you. The stone guards will fit on the standard V8V sills and the N400/N420 sills without modification as I have mounted them on my car with both types of sills. The V8VS / V12V will also fit with slight modification.
