Karl, can you give a layman some clue as to what settings you are using to create the finish you have achieved in these cool photos. Is there for instance a filter on the camara?

Is there an angle where the car doesn't look good?

There is no filter on the camera and the pictures are not really manipulated in Photoshop other than for a slight sharpening.

The technique involves using very powerful studio strobe lighting with strip bank softboxes. You also have to stop down your lens to the point where the only light hitting the sensor is coming from the strobes and not from ambient lighting. You cannot accomplish this kind of look with your typical on-camera flash or speedlight because they simply aren't powerful enough.

Um, Bridgestone? I'm not sure that's what you meant to ask, though.

The wheel is Aston's Sport Pack wheel. It is their unique design, but it is not manufactured by them. It is made for them exclusively by a company in Asia.

I had them off the car as I was cleaning them the other day and noticed they have a stamp on the rear of one of the spokes that said "Made in " Japan or China (Honestly can't remember which one right now.)

Interesting point. As far as I know patent laws don't apply in China so they will copy your knobs anyway unless you register the patent actually in China as well frown

Fantastic pics Karl. Mick Freeman inspected my car too so it looks our little pride and joys share a connection.
Same here, though he missed a couple of things. He must have been on a bender the night before...

Great photos, Karl. They are professional standard. That first montage you could have made into a poster.

Thanks. When I installed the diffuser on my car, I did something a little different: I used a bright aluminum fine mesh instead of the black larger mesh that AM usually puts on the N420. I think the bright finish draws your eyes to the diffuser more, making it a more noticeable showpiece. I think it also matches the clear taillights better.
