Can you pull the 22 from a V12 Vantage
Discussion
As posted above its no louder with the fuse out than it is with the sport button pressed. Pulling the fuse simply means you dont have to press the button and therefore dont have to have the remapped throttle feature which fools you into going faster by giving you a heavy right foot.
As for the fuse it depends on the age of your V12V. Mine is a mid 2010 model car and it is Fuse 22. Suggest you check page 10.29 of your owners manual. Mine states:
Boot Fuses : F22 - 20A Exhaust bypass valve and vacuum pump
Note that it is fuse 22 in the boot not the cabin or engine bay fuse boxes - be aware there are 3 fuse boxes so there is more than one dynamic here in terms of locating the right fuse for the age of your car.

Removing the fuse does not give exactly the same exhaust behaviour as the sport button. The sport button lowers the rev limit at which the valve opens, removing the fuse leaves it permanently open regardless of engine speed.
Consequently with the fuse pulled the exhaust is louder up to about 3k revs and when cruising at motorway speeds than it is with the sport button pressed. You may find the drone a bit intrusive on the motorway!

Instead of removing the fuse (22 or 15, depending on MY), you could also consider using a OEM-look button on the steering column, so you can open/close the valves when desired! Since I have it, I use it many times (closed when driving on highway or at night in the city, and open when in a tunnel! :-))
The paralight remote control costs 99 pounds and takes around 30 seconds to fit. Just replace the fuse (no.15 in my V12V) with the small unit supplied, Stick the remote in the ashtray and there you have it. www.fuse22.net
