Customs and VAT, erm, they will be the responsibility of the purchaser wink

They aren't OEM Beru units, but as TPMS has been compulsory on cars in the US for some years, there is now a mature market for OEM replacements, so there are a few different manufacturers that compete in the replacements business. They usually work on 315MHz, but they also sell 433MHz ones for the European market.

I will be retrofitting, so worked my way through ELSAWin and ETKA last night to create the parts list, I need 4 antenna (£15 each secondhand from eBay Germany!) control unit from same source at £18.75, its the plugs, pins, and stuff to create the wiring loom that will be difficult.

I have a copy of VCDS (Vagcom) and the right cable to work on the A8, so that won't be a problem, the A8 is a great car to hack around with, I'm gradually adding every option they ever offered smile

True, my GF doesn't want to travel any distance on the Vantage lightweight seats, the Audi's comfort seats get her vote every time. And having all those toys to play with on long journeys keeps me entertained.

Maybe I'm getting old, but if I had to have only one car, the Audi might get the garage space ahead of the Aston

I'm intrigued. What sort of toys does GF use to keep you entertained on long journeys?
Of course I may have got the wrong end of the stick.

If you only need the stem as I did as mine disintegrated when I tried to take the sensor out of the wheel you can get that part from Ferrari.. Aston martin do not sell that part on its own.. Its a scam.. You have to buy the sensor and stem together.. My Aston dealer has the Ferrari franchise too (in the same building)so same parts dept... Stem from Ferrari £16... Whole sensor from AM...... Can't remember but they got the Great Yorkshire War Cry...!!!
Hope this saves someone somewhere a bit of cash....
Ps.. Still be nice to know where you can get cheap sensors from though....
