Hi everyone, I am a very happy first time owner of a Aston martin, this weekend I took delivery of a 2009 V8 vantage sports shift coupe, I have not stopped smiling since I heard my blast from the rear when putting my foot down. I have a question which might be very simple to you guys and girls, hear goes, when i press the button on the key fob for the running light, only the drivers side lights up, is it something to do with parking or has a fuse gone? I bought from a independent dealer some distance away so cannot just nip back, thanks for reading.

Both LED strips light on my 2007 V8V. Not sure why they would have changed it to be only one side but of course that button is only really to locate the car in the dark so perhaps it was felt that one side was enough and saves battery power.
I assume both sides LED strips light when you turn the sidelights on using the switch in the car?

Hi, thank you for your replies, I have now checked the LED lights when the car is running and still only the drivers side is working, I presume it must be a fuse, not sure where to look.

Mark Congrats on the car, don't worry the photo rule is unofficial, but everybody likes to see peoples new toys! I've had a quick check and on first glance it looks like these fuses are involved: F58 - Headlamp (right side) / Headlamp (main beam) level module F59 - Headlamp (left side) Both are located in the fuse box in the cabin (passenger footwell - pull up the carpet right at the front where your feet rest - there's a metal panel secured by some Torx screws. The fuses are the mini spade type. Can't find anything that mentions the side lights specifically though so not sure if this will solve your problem?

Looks like the LED banks are quite prone to failure on the Vantage / DB9. It's a new headlight job. Good job you are under warranty.
