Just did a quick quote for the New Vantage and Elephant are miles ahead of the rest on Price.
I also have my Land Rover Discovey 4 with them at the minute so in principle happy to go with them.
Just wondering if any other aston owners use them?
If i needed a repair whilst insured with them could I ensure it went to Aston, clearly the thought of ending up in a generic repair shop is a little scary.

Thanks In advance.

I use them for my V8V - like you, cheapest by a long way.

Others on the forum do use them John so you are not alone.

You will hear stories of non-OEM parts used to keep costs down if involved in an accident etc, but I'm no longer sure of either the authenticity or the veracity of these claims.

All I know is that all insurers have good points and bad points. If price is your main priority then why not Elephant?

I note you have 2 vehicles - ever thought of Admiral Multi-Car ?? Could even be part of the same group smile

I did Admiral multicar on my v8v and it was a ridiculously good price. They are all part of the Admiral group, including Confused.com and a few others.

Strangely I just used their website for a quote , it came back at £1500.00!!!

Then used confused.com, the best quote was £1014.00 from Admiral, and elephant came back at £1020.00. Don't know what that's all about. confused

Hey John

Had confirmation for Spa today from Les biggrin

I'm with locktons already, strangely though they've told me that the policy doesn't cover track use abroad and that I'll likely have to pay an extra premium... Hey ho smile

Thats great news mate. I will be hacked off if it is more money as they told me before I confirmed that they would cover SPA. I would not have bothered and taken the cheaper Admiral route if that is the case.

Even though they are in the same group, each has a different target market, so will price car/owner types that fall outside of this bracket higher.

Just had it confirmed, although they thought I said Nurburgring!!! I did state at the beginning though that I wanted this as part of the cover, whereas the normal policy does say UK tracks.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I am getting quoted £510 from them, protected 9+NCB which is not bad for a 35 year old in Glasgow.

Cheers
