Agreed, go for a private sale, prices are at their highest now.

I had a look at Californias last night, they are beginning to appeal to me. See if one of those 2 manual cars come up...

NOT instead of the Aston though.

Agree with Yeti......put it up here and it will sell.......dealers will want 10 to 15k profit before expenses in a DBS ......early ones are going through the trade late 60k early 70k

It's an 09 manual with full leather, 20" diamond turned 10 sphere wheels, light colored roof lining, 14kmiles just serviced and first MOT, just had full body mop and all 4 wheels refurbished, it has paint protection on the front sills and rear quarters and is truly immaculate. I looked at loads and to be honest some of the cars out there and advertised on here I wouldn't give £50k for! But you get what you pay for so I would have expected a sensible offer.

Anyway my rants over! Good to here all your thoughts and I must say I've just been out in it and I do love it, I MIT just keep it anyway.

Ok, looking at similar cars on AM main stock Id expect your car to be advertised at £93 trade, so I'd expect an AM main dealer to bid you around £80-£83k. On this basis £70k does seem low but if the Ferrari dealer doesnt have a AM dealer in the group then they will bid lower.

If you dont like what you have been told why not try another dealer? Its perhaps a little trek for you from Burton upon Trent but JCT600 have an AM and a Ferrari dealership in the same building in Leeds - you could try them?

Or keep it, DBS > California in my books too! smile

This looks a lovely car for some one who,s looking. Why go pay MD price when there are cars like this available for a private sale.
Looks really good and what a insulting trade offer!

Before you slip too far down another painful path, call a few Ferrari dealers for a trade purchase price on a year old Cali.

Aston aren't the only ones in the pants pulling game. Though they are quite good at it smile

I think in relation to a 93k selling price a 70-75k offer from a dealer would be normal,I would expect a dealer to have 20profit in a 90k car .

How could anyone trade one of the most beautiful cars ever for one of the ugliest ever produced??

Cali is just such a mis-match of awkward lines plus it was made for girls.......Oh and footballers (much the same I guess)

Better and more useable for the wife especially on anything other than a dry day. Also is a quick car and has the f sound!
Though like I say I do love the DBS with that nice fuse removed!
