For some reason Lightning Silver is quite a difficult coloured car to sell on. I remember one at Wilmslow that was up for absolute ages.AMDBSVNick said:
Also very nice and I do like the colour, I should have mentioned I'm after a manual as well brakedust said:
Just had a look - very nice! Unfortunately outside my budget by a fair amount, I'm looking for something in the 80's
Think you may have missed the boat https://used.astonmartin.com/en-GB/Search/Results/...
For fairness and additional information, the DBS value has also rocketed in France in the last few months. I know that some of you will say:the wheel drive is at the wrong place and there are a few thousands of them made :-)

The one at £129K sold immediately and there were numerous enquires. I also understand that the one at £115K is now sold
I'm told by those who know, that they are seen as the new DB5 with a long way to go, £250K within a few years apparently
Kevin, I'm intrigued as to where that information came from as I simply can't see it. I get that it's toward the end of the manual N/A V12 era, and trust me, I'm hoping they go that way for the obvious reason (a manual coupe in the garage), but to me it doesn't make sense. Do tell. Kevin, I'm not so sure it's the DB5/Bond effect creating the sudden interest as I notice the DBS Volante is also fetching these kind of prices.I'm told by those who know, that they are seen as the new DB5 with a long way to go, £250K within a few years apparently
I think it's just relative rarity

Not sure about this whole DBS bubble, it's very similar to the V12V manual scenario about 12 months ago I'm told by those who know, that they are seen as the new DB5 with a long way to go, £250K within a few years apparently
All these DBS manuals suddenly appear too, I see some owners have assessed the situation and sold it on for a nice profit

I sent the link to a friend who also has a DBS, he called HMW and Works, both were of the same opinionGassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
