Kevin, I'm intrigued as to where that information came from as I simply can't see it. I get that it's toward the end of the manual N/A V12 era, and trust me, I'm hoping they go that way for the obvious reason (a manual coupe in the garage), but to me it doesn't make sense. Do tell.
I sent the link to a friend who also has a DBS, he called HMW and Works, both were of the same opinion
So, Aston Martin dealerships talking up the value of their own brand. Shocker. I'm being a little facetious, but hopefully you get my drift. I'd rather this information came from an independent source (accepting of course that Works are experts in classics). We'll see, in the meantime, I shall keep driving mine, as if it's going to be a classic, nobody will mind a few miles on it!

Nicholas Mee also say the same but like you, I drive mine when ever I can

Does anyone know total production numbers of manual DBS or even better, total production number and UK/RHD number ?

In particular, I'm wondering how those numbers compare to V12V

Numbers not confirmed but should give you a good idea. Copied from an earlier thread

4: DBS Coupe Manual: little over 1100 made
3: V12V Coupe Manual: little over 1000 made (not including V12VS M)
2: V12V Roadster Manual: 100 made
1: DBS Volante Manual: less then 100 made

The one at £129K sold immediately and there were numerous enquires. I also understand that the one at £115K is now sold

I'm told by those who know, that they are seen as the new DB5 with a long way to go, £250K within a few years apparently
Really??? You can buy a few toys for that. I get the recent uptick in values, but quarter of a mil, seriously? Maybe in 10 years.

If I can sell my DBS for the price of a new Vanquish S, it's going.

I think the current Vanq price puts a cap on the value of the DBS.

Sorry, I may have just had a small microsleep........are you saying HWM are willing to do that sort of deal, or that they will just confirm their thoughts on the appreciation likely on the DBS. IF I could get a Vanquish S for my DBS, it would happen right now.
